This usually means that the driver you are loading is designed for a different windows version.
For example, perhaps you're running Windows 7, and the driver is made for Windows XP.

First determine for sure which windows you have, Right click on My Computer, choose Properties. Under the General tab it will tell you what what windows version you have.

Then visit http://sabrent.com/v2/drivers/ to find the correct driver for the version of windows you have and the model of device.

I just purchased an siig soundwave pci and am getting "don't support this platform - o" when installing the driver via CD. I have windows 8 Pro. What is causing this problem?

Sounds like the driver software is not compatible with Windows 8. Look on packaging for requirements, or readme files on disc. You could also check on their web site for updated drivers.

Running Epson Scan Setup it says "Could not find files ..." Why?

Hello maybe your current driver is vrong or corrupted.

You can download the right driver from here:

http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=88368&prodoid=63070478&infoType=Downloads&platform=All

But you have to select your windows system 32 or 64 bit
to make the scanner working.
Uninstall the old driver before you install the new.

Good luck

hi there!

with that error message "USB Decive Not Recognized", it means that there might be something wrong with the usb cable you're using or the usb port on your pc. try connecting it to a different usb port. if its the same thing, try using another usb cable.

go to device manager. You will find MTP with a yellow mark on it. Right click - properties and uninstall. When hardware wiz come up again, cancel the driver install, and should not bug you again. If you really need this device, (don't think you do) look for driver on MB manufactures web site.
