SOURCE: drum makes loud noise when spinning

The bearings are worn out ,it's not worth to repair , the fact that your washer is old it's going to have more problems.

SOURCE: Frigidaire front loader makes banging noises in spin cycle

hi there.......if this problem has just recently appeared...its quite possible that 1 of the tub suspension springs has broken resulting in the tub lying at an angle and causing this unbalance....you can check this by tilting the machine and looking at the tub susension points

SOURCE: Machine makes loud banging noise during the spin cycle

The load is out of balance. Open the lid and redistribute the contents. When it's empty, grab the basket and give it a slight push sideways. It should move a little but, not free swing. If it doesn't have much resistance, the "snubber" has dried out and should be replaced. It is simply a piece of rubber in a metal bracket, that rests on the tub. When the basket spins, the snubber keeps it from jumping around.

Tub is making very loud banging noise

There could be an unbalanced load of laundry being washed or the drum bearings are loose and need to be tighten or the filter is blocked in your washing machine.

My washer is making a loud noise during the spinner cycle. The drum is very loose.

Drum should be tight - noise you hear is the drum banging around all over the place as it spins.

Check the spindle and bearings where the drum is connected along with the tension on the belt that powers the drum.

The stain vanish and 90 minute lights are flashing but the cycle has'nt finished.begins to spin but makes a banging noise and then stops.not taking fabric softener neither.

Sounds like multiple problems. A banging noise during spin means that the drum is not centrally balanced or the suspension mounting is loose or broken. The machine needs to be examined by an experienced technician.

Drum appears to be loose and makes a lot of noise when on the spin cycle

With the washer empty, spin the wash tub by hand. The drum should be spin true without any noticeable wobbling and spin without much noise. If it wobbles or makes any kind of rubbing or banging noise as you turn it by hand. The problem is that the spider support arms are broken. It is an expensive repair job since the washer has to be completely torn apart and the wash drum needs to be replaced. Get a few estimates before deciding whether to repair or replace. Sorry.

Washer making loud noise and wont spin

Check and see if the inner drum is loose and floppy.if it is, it's likely the bearings have collapsed, and require replacement...If the drum feels stiff and tight, it could be that something is jammed between the inner and outer drums. Both situations could be costly...Get quotes....Good luck...Nomess

Loud banging

Several possibilities for noise. check concrete balance wieghts at top and bottom of washer, make sure they are not loose.
Check drum restraint spring(s) are not broken.
Check suspension legs for wear.
Check for loose motor fixings.
Finally, remove drum belt, and spin drum by hand, tjhere should be noise from bearings, if it feels rough or is rumbling , then main bearings have failed.
Please rate my comments.
Thanks.

AEG LAVAMAT W1450 SOMETHING LOOSE IN DRUM WHEN SPINNING

Sounds like the main drum bearings have gone, if you hold the the drum and can feel up and movement or it sounds noisy or rough when you turn it by hand then it is definately bearings gone.
Unless you know what you are doing ,I would not recommend a D.I.Y. repair.
