Thank you for your question. I hope this helps solve the problem you are having with your Hot Wheels Color Shifter not changing colors.
I believe your issue may stem from the temperature of the water you are using. You will need two bowls of water - one with ice cold water and the other with hot water. Dipping your car into the ice cold water should change your car into the green color you are looking for. Dipping your car into the hot water will change it back into its original color. Here is a link to a youtube video demontrating this process - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gZf7BKtInU&feature=related.
If this does not help, I would suggest you return it and get a new one. It may be defective.
Good Luck with your color shifter and have fun!

MY TV MONITOR COLOUR IS FULLY CHANGED .NOW ITS ONLY GREEN COLOUR .TV COMPANY NAME IS THOMSON.HOW IT WILL CLEAR?

Your TV color drivers could be at fault. They run very hot and sometimes develop dry solder. You can confirm this by hitting the side of the TV when its on and see if the color comes back. If they do or even flicker get somebody to resolder the CRT base pcb of the TV.

New Bulb (30 hrs). Screen flickers after 10 minutes, color changes with green tint, then bulb shuts off.

Hi, I had a similar problem - the screen flicked through blue, green and red sometimes with a slight ticking noise. The problem seems to be that the colour-wheel is getting stuck - the first time this happened I sent it back to optoma who gave it a clean - it has happened again since thouegh and I just took the case off (you'll be able to see the colour wheel under a black plastic flap - remove the flap) I then used a cotton bud (q-tip) and turned the colour wheel whilst lightly pressing the cotton bud against the wheel - I also gave everything a blast with a can of air. My HD72i is ceiling mounted - optoma suggested putting the hoover pipe across the vents every now and then to keep the dust down. Essentially it's dust that is stopping the movement of the colour wheel.

Hope this helps.

Purple and green scrolling lines

This may be a mechanical or electronic problem that is dealing with the sync of the colour wheel. There is basicly no colour lock. This may be the replacement of the associated circuit board, or the motor assembly or the colour wheel.

The link below is describing about how DLP technology works. They are relating to a front projection type. With the rear screen type, the basic technology is very much the same for decoding the pictures from the TV signal.
