hey You just download patch , which will make your windows 7 driver compatible to windows xp and then before installing it go to wifi software property and then make it compatible to windows xp
You can download the device drivers from Dell WEB site,the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop,better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on thebottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Taglabel is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages,the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where thespecific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you selectthe Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Here is a website I found containing drivers for the Dell inspiron N5030 for XP. While I haven't tried the drivers myself, it does list the specifications of the laptop, and lists each driver for each hardwar.

You can find all the drivers for the Inspiron 15 (N5030) at the Dell website here. Since Dell does not specifically include Windows XP drivers, you should first try the Vista drivers, since most of these will work with XP.
