PRINTER PROBLEMS TRYING TO PUT THE PRINTER ON CONTINUOUS FEED BUT THE LIGHTS THAT ARE UNDER TEAR OUT (2 GREEN LIGHTS SIDE BY SIDE) KEEP BLINKING. THEN THE PAUSE/ PAPER OUT LIGHTS (ONE RED, ONE ORANGE) ALSO KEEPS BLINKING. pAPER WONT AUTOMATICALLY FEED CONTINOUSLY. THE ONLY WAY TO FEED THE PAPER IS BY TURNING THE FEED KNOB MANUALLY WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE SIDE OF THE PRINTER. EVEN AFTER DOING SO, THE PRINTER STILL WON'T PRINT THE INFORMATION!

PRINTER PROBLEMS 2 GREEN LIGHTS SIDE BY SIDE KEEP BLINKING. THEN THE PAUSE/ PAPER OUT LIGHTS ONE RED, ONE ORANGE ALSO KEEPS BLINKING. pAPER WONT AUTOMATICALLY FEED

There are several reasons for this problem. One is the paper tray is either too full or not closed properly. There is a sensor and if the sensor is faulty the same symptoms happen. It happened to me sometime back. How old is your printer? If it is within the guarantee period you should take it to the dealer and he will have to either repair or replace it.

HOT TO ADJUST THE TEAR HEIGHT ON A MICROLINE 490 WITHOUT USING THE SETUP DISC

If you are using regular letter size continuous printer paper, load the paper normally with the machine turned off. You can even turn the knob to feed the paper through, it doesn't matter how far. Turn the printer back on and press "PARK" button. Then press the "FF/LOAD" button and when you begin printing it will automatically print at the top of form (TOF). If the TOF ever gets thrown off you can press "LINE FEED" until the tear is where you want it and press "SHIFT" > "TOF" to back back to the previous page (or top of form).
Simply put, pressing "PARK" then "LOAD" should set the tear where you need it.

Cannon MP830 Printer purchased in July, 2007. Was working fine until yesterday. suddenly when printing from PC get "Service Error 5C10 and printer alarm light begins blinking". When trying copy -...

It is one of two things.

a bad ink cartridge (the chip located on the gold part of it)
or
bad USB cable.

IF you have a spare cable simply change them out.

If you are refilling your cartridges, it is time to replace them.

Canon Pixma ip1300 Ink absorber is saying is full what is the easiest way to solve this problem

open printer. with gloves or unless you don't mind getting your hands dirty, Open top of printer lid, carefully, pull out spongey grey piece at bottom of printer. to your left side is a piece of plastic, pull that off and below it is another sponge. Carefully pull this out as well. Wash and squeeze excess water. replace. YOU MAY WANT TO USE A FLASHLIGHT TO BE SURE YOU CAN SEE WHAT YOU ARE DOING. UNplug printer, hold button. restart, release button - as described above. Keep trying. Then do a bottom plate cleaning. keep trying eventually everything resets and you can continue working. To remove ink from hands and plastic, use alcohol.

then you will need to reset it this works on some canon printers not all

1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not,
press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should respond as normal..
Good luck

Cant print. the tear like button is blinking

I have a 6940 color printer and I am assuming the 'tear' buttons are the same. If so, it is an out of toner indicator.

Red and Green lights are together blinking continiously

I had this problem. The cancel button was stucked. Open the toner tray and slighly push the button side top-cover up. It released the cancel button for me (actually I was trying to open the top, but it worked). The cancel button was released and the blinking red-green stopped. Printer now working.
