HTC Wildfire, how do i undo updates. I received an update notification from HTC which I installed. Since then the phone has gone slow, plays videos with jerks, applications keep starting in the background which I have to kill using a Task Killer. Still the applications keep starting up every 5 to 10 seconds. I tried hard factory reset also but no benefit.

All you have to do is... hold down the (RED) End button and the (GREEN) Send button at the same time, and while still holding them down POKE your stylus in the soft reset hole at the bottom of phone.
Soft Reset button is located to the right of the mini USB charging port, assuming the phone's screen is facing you.
Confirm you want to Format and Done!
P.S. Sometimes if you don't hold the Green and Red buttons hard enough they tend to unclick and reclick if you don't apply Firm and even pressure. Also if you still have trouble make sure the phone is in the BOOTING cycle when you attempt this.
