What replacement remote works best with the tv/dvd combo? I can,t find one that will work both the tv or dvd.

This is a low tech antique television. You can't connect a phone to it!

A universal is not likely to work for a combo unit---best bet is to Google the model number of the set and try to get an Original remote for it.

With a universal remote control, we can't get allthe functions do work as its orginal one. You have to check other codes for Apex, described in its user manual. Check other codes, and see which one will do best to get most functions with the TV. OK.

Any remote supporting Sylvania TV/DVD combos will work for these tvs. I had a Zenith universal remote working with this TV.

If you have an RCA TV/DVD combo model #20F510TD....... I may be able to help....somewhat.
I was able to program a (Walmart) RCA 3 device universal remote control ( $9.96)
but only for the TV. I could not get the remote to program for the DVD.

I have a similar problem with my universal remote and DVD player/recorder. there are some remotes that will not work with a different brand of unit, that is the best I can tell you.

My Daenyx DN-191 D TV remote stopped worked after a while. I didnt get one universal remote that works with this piece of junk. I called their customer service at 1-877-329-8351. They said the remote will be $30 + $7 (shipping) + tax. Your best bet will be to buy a replacement remote or better toss this junk off the window.

I think you should look over the Internet to buy one from places like Ebay for your brand of TV.
