My EFX elliptical provides an error 44? and shuts down in the middle of my work out. I notice this is only an issue when choose a course that is weight loss when the EFX has to incline and decline. When the stepper is moving the whole front side plastic is shaking as if there is a loose piece inside. I need service, I'm Located in mill valley 94941. Are there instructions that I can open te front part and reattach any loose parts on the lifter part?

Precor Error 44, Un-commanded Lift Motion Probable Cause 1. Intermittent or bad connection in the lift position sensor(potentiometer).
2. Lift position sensor (potentiometer) is bad.
3. Lower PCA is bad.
Corrective Action

1. Bad or intermittent connection of the lift position sensor (potentiometer) is the most common cause of the error 44. Inspect all wiring and connections related to the lift position sensor (potentiometer). Repair or replace wiring connections as necessary.
2. Monitor the lift position number displayed while operating the lift in diagnostics mode. If the reading makes large changes or is erratic, the lift position sensor (potentiometer) is likely bad. Replace the lift position sensor (potentiometer) or lift motor if the lift position sensor (potentiometer) is internal to the lift motor.
3. If the lift moves without any command entered either manually or through a program, replace the lower PCA.
