I cannot receive pictures from overseas - media type not supported - and i cannot send mms overseas from south africa - vodacom. please help

depend on where about u brought it but best bet is to get it unlocked at a phone shop

Phone vodacom and ask them to sms the settings to your phone and after reading it,press options and press save and your phone will be programed. Normally when you use the phone Vodacom sends you a message noting that they have found that you are using a different phone and then they ask you if they must send you the updates,you then type in yes.as they ask you and send it back,within seconds you will get the results.

You can cousult your GSM carrier for getting the service of GPRS. Then you'll be able to send and receive MMS.
Or you may try to confirm if there is enough storage space,you may delete much unuseful information in your phone.Or may be the file you received is over size.

After flashing my ROM I had to manually enter this information. It populated on it's own, the information was incorrect.

this is for danzljams..... I have P1i configured with T-Mobile in the USA.... They have details of this phone in their database.... if you call T-mobile they will text you the settings for MMS, WAP, T-zones, etc, etc... when you open the text the phone will install the settings automatically and you will be up and running.

you have to contact vodacom customer care. settings could be recieved through service provider only it can be delivered to you by a network you are using.
