We just purchased a Electrolux Front Load Washer Steam EIFLS55I. The washer keeps beeping with a message of Key Stuck. What is the problem and how is it corrected? I have been able to do a few loads. Last night I bput in two flat sheets and 3 towels (we have a sick pet), put it on deep clean. The machine filled with water, I assume, because there is water in the tank, but it stopped cycling, and beeps regularly, all night to be exact. I have tried to push buttons and was able to get it to start the regular wash cycle, but within a couple minutes the washer was again beeping and it said "Key Stuck" Need more experienced advice as to the problem. Thank you!

SOURCE: electrolux ew 880 f. Working

Hi,

Disconnect the power supply for few minutes, say 15 minutes and then turn it on. This would reset the machine. If the problem persists, this would more likely confirm an internal issue and needs repair. If you wanted to repair it, kindly provide few more details :-

1. How old is the machine?
2. Any error message on the display?
3. Any sequence of beeps like 3 beeps, then pause and then 3 beeps or is it beeping continuously?

Let me know,so that we could proceed.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

SOURCE: my front load Electrolux washer asks me "clean

You do not need to clean a drain pump. After you have washes so many loads of clothes, soap scum builds up in your tub and will shorten the life of your product. You just need to run it thru the "clean" cycle. You can use 1/2 cup of bleach and NO detergent or you can by a tub cleaner from most grocery stores or Walmart and use that. It'll just remove any soap scum and mineral build-up off your tub. It should be done each time you washer tells you to do it. Hope this helps. :)

How do I reset an Electrolux washer model EIFLS55IMB0

I haven't found your model. However the Electrolux EIFLW50LIW has a demo mode. The display will show Dn when in this mode. To toggle this off, first press the power button to turn off the washer. Then turn it back on. Wait for the console to light up and then at least 10 seconds more while it does the machine self-tests. Next press and hold Soil and Spin Speed simultaneously. Hold both for 5 seconds or until you hear a chime or the lights blink off then on again. The FAQ for the EIFLW50LIW gives pressing and holding Soil and Options. However, there isn't one specific Options button on the right of the console of the machine. Please note: if you hold these buttons too long, you could toggle a setting back on.

The references I found: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/235416/Electrolux-Eifls55i.html?page=12#manual and https://na2.electroluxmedia.com/Original/Electrolux/Electrolux%20Assets/Document/Complete%20Owners%20Guide/English/137519000een.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Hi I actually have an EDW 1477 washer/ dryer. I keep getting an E20 message, the machine then beeps and stops! Any idea what the error is and what I should do? Thanks

This is a problem associated with the drum not emptying water - usually a blocked empty pump filter. Electrolux have an excellent support site. Go to:
