Hi there,
depending on what content you want shown, you can access all this by clicking on the tools link on the top of your ie 8 page, then click on internet options and this will open a window with all the setting of your internet browser which you can adjust to suit yourself. you will find these options there, security, privacy, content among others, but those three will be the ones you will want to adjust to suit yourself. hope this helps.

Using a WPS Spreadsheet with embedded macros. How do I enable macros please. Thx. Graeme

Enable macros in the Backstage view Another method to enable macros in a file is via the Microsoft Office Backstage view, the view that appears after you click the File tab, when the yellow Message Bar appears. Click the File tab. In the Security Warning area, click Enable Content. Under Enable All Content, click Always enable this document's active content. The file becomes a trusted document.

Need to enable cookies on google chrome

1. Click on the "Customize and control Google Chrome" icon in the top right corner of the Chrome browser window. It looks like three little parallel horizontal bars.
2. Select "Settings". The "Settings" window will open in a new tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the "Settings" window and click on "Show advanced settings..." More options will appear.
4. Under the "Privacy" heading, click on "Content settings". A "Content settings" window will open.
5. In the "Content settings" window, choose from among the options in the "Cookies" section. The first option, "Allow local data to be set (recommended)" enables cookies for all websites, and you won't get any error messages anymore from websites telling you that you need to enable cookies. However, this option protects your privacy the least. If you want to allow cookies from only some websites, click on "Manage exceptions".

All web browsers in WIndows XP will usually have JavaScript enabled by default, but on occasion, it will be turned off. By turning JavaScript on in your web browser, you will have access to more interactive content when you visit certain websites. For Windows XP users, JavaScript can be enabled in both the Internet Explorer and Firefox web browsers. Open the Internet Explorer Click on "Tools" in the top menu bar and choose "Internet Options."
Go to the "Security" tab at the top of the window and click on the "Custom Level" button. croll down to the "Scripting" category and click on the "Enable" option next to "Active Scripting." JavaScript is now enabled.
  • Step 4 Scroll down to the "Scripting" category and click on the "Enable" option next to "Active Scripting." JavaScript is now enabled.
