There are a few noises that heating pipes make. I will lost some and probable causes and solutions.

Gurgling or water rushing, system is air bound and low on water, bleed out air and replace air eliminator.

Pipes banging, circulator (pump) is turning on and causing what is called water hammer. Expansion tank is not absorbing shock of circulator turning on, Replace or increase size of tank. If system is steam, you are water logged and need to be drained.

Creaking, could be normal expansion of pipes or could be pipes rubbing against wood where penetrates through floor. Spray Pledge on pipes where they penetrate through floor.

It may take a few bleeding sessions to get all air out of radiators. Start on upper floors and work to lowest radiators.

May need to bleed the air out of the system after the hose change. Look for small bleed valve on the top engine or cooling hoes/pipe bleed slowly while engine is at operating temp, then refill after reservoir after car cools down

How the hell do you bleed a cooling system on a 1.1 n reg ford fiesta mrk 3 1996 3 door been trying for ages.

filler cap off on water tank. heater on full (now power to fan) red zone. fill water to top off water bottle. run engine till fans come on to cool down, wile this you need to squeeze the pipes where you can to help the air come out. and fill the water tank to the top so you can see the air come out. when engine at temp tern off engine and leave to cool. if the cab is not hot inside wile you are doing this then the valve control is not working. were the two pipes from the water system goes in to the cab there is a black valve with 2 wires in it this will need to be replaced as the valve has gone they cannot be fixed as it would off rusted closed inside. they dont cost a lot at all if you look for one. failing this take it out and put 2 copper pipes in its place until the winter weather has gone. this means the heat will be on all the time had to do this to my sisters car when here vale went.

Air trapped in boiler making noise

If the air is in the boiler itself you can't vent it through the pressure relief valve on the side. If the air is in the loop (baseboard or radiators) then you should go to the highest point in he loop & bleed the air out using the bleeder valves on he baseboard or radiator. You need to follow the pipes & see where they turn colder & that's generally where the air is.

My 01 Cavalier is overheating. I changed the thermostat and do not see any apparent leaks. The heater was blowing hot air before I changed the thermostat and now it's only blowing cool air. Any

What engine 2.2 or 2.4 ?
Important: On vehicles equipped with the 2.4L engine, open the coolant air bleed valve. The coolant air bleed valve is located on the top of the thermostat bypass pipe/heater pipe assembly. Close the valve once a continuous stream of coolant is expelled from the valve.
Does the cooling fan come on ?
Notice: When adding coolant, it is important that you use GM Goodwrench DEX-COOL™ coolant. If coolant other than DEX-COOL™ is added to the system, the engine coolant will require change sooner: at 50 000 km (30,000 miles) or 24 months.
Close the radiator drain ****. Remove the drain hose.
If previously removed, install the engine block drain plugs.
When installing the drain plugs, use pipe sealer GM P/N 12346004.
Important: On vehicles equipped with the 2.4L engine, open the coolant air bleed valve. The coolant air bleed valve is located on the top of the thermostat bypass pipe/heater pipe assembly. Close the valve once a continuous stream of coolant is expelled from the valve.
Fill the surge tank to the base of the filler neck.
Start the engine with the pressure cap off. Let the engine run until the upper radiator hose starts to get hot.
If the coolant level in the surge tank is low, add the proper mix of coolant until the level reaches the full cold line.
Important: After servicing the cooling system, and if the vehicle is equipped with an intermittent low coolant light, an occasional low coolant light may be encountered during some extreme driving maneuvers. This complaint should be eliminated by removing the surge tank cap and adding coolant to a level just at or above the full cold line when the system is cold.
Install the cap onto the tank with hand tight pressure.

Having trouble bleeding the front breaks

Bleeding the brakes can take a while as the amount actually squirted throught the pump is tiny. the best thing I have found is to go to halfords and buy a bleeding kit which has a one way valve ( not the orange pipe and plug). You then slaken the bleed valve slightly ,attach the hose to the nipple and put the other end in a container to save the fluid that you will be pumping out. Then open your brake fluid reservior on your handal bars and get pumping with the lever, making sure the reservior never runs out of fluid by keeping it topped up. When there is just pure fluid coming out of the bleed valve(no air bubbles in the fluid) tighten the bleed nipple. job done. It really does trake a long time especially if you have an air lock, builds your arm muscles up.
another way is to pull the lever fully in and tie it off on the bars and leave it for 24 hrs, also heating the claiper with a hair dryer causes the air to rise up the pipe and back into the reservoir.
