On the nissan qashqai you press and hold in the button that resets you trip milage while the ignition is off, then turn on your ignition but dont start the engine, keep holding the button in for about 10 seconds after you turn ignition on and the indicator should reset.
Tried that but didn't work, anymore suggestions?
On the speedometer there are two knobs. Right hand side knob will take you to settings. Once the setting message will appear turn the knob to anticlock wise and it will take you to reset the service messages (Taha Kamal-Pakistan)[email protected]
Right side knob on the speedometer will fix it. Just press it untill it take you to the settings menu and then rotate it anticlock wise it will take you to the menu where you can reset service messages. Be careful not to enter into factory settings

Reset Your Nissan Qashqai Service Indicator
If your ignition is on, turn it off and then back on.
Press the right button next to your speedometer until you reach the settings section.
Once you reach the settings section, keep the button pressed until a new menu appears.
Twist the button to scroll to the “maintenance” category.
Press the button, and scroll down to the “Service” category.
Press the button again and scroll down to the “Reset” option.
Once on the “Reset” option, press the button
Turn the ignition off, then on and your service indicator light should now be turned off.
This should turn off your service indicator.
