Why my PSP Dosen't on but it Charges

What's the last thing you did before that problem started? I suspect your PSP is BRICKED. if you can give me the following, I may be able to help you revive your PSP, of course with the right tools.
1. PSP Make (Slim or Phat) 2. PSP Motherboard 3. Last CFW installed before it bricked

I need help connecting to the internet with my psp

Connecting the PSP to the internet is pretty easy once you get all your settings in place. Here’s how to connect the psp to the Internet. You will need a wireless router in order to connect the PSP to the internet or you could “borrow” your neighbours wireless access although it’s better to have your own. Wireless routers are very cheap nowadays you could find a good one for about 30 for 50 bucks.
  • With your Psp turned on go to the “Settings” in the menu (scroll to the left)
  • Scroll all the way down until you have reached “Network Settings” and click the “X” button to enter
  • Select “Infrastructure Mode” and hit “X”
  • Select “New Connection” and hit the X button again
  • Now you will have a number of options for connecting to a wireless connection. Choose “Scan” and press the control pad to the left, the PSP will now scan for wifi signals around your area
  • When the PSP finishes scanning you will probably have a few different wifi connections. SSID is the name of the connection, the Security column tells you whether or not the connection is password protected, and the last one is the signal strength the higher the better
  • If you want to borrow your neighbors unprotected wifi select a connection with “None” in the Security column and a strong signal. If you want to use a secure wifi than you will need to know the password. Select one and press the X button
  • Now the Psp will confirm your settings proceed by pressing left on the d-pad and save your settings
  • Now test your connection if you are able to connect, awesome. If you were not able to connect try doing the settings again
  • With the connection settings in place we can now connect the PSP to the internet. In the home menu scroll all the to the left until you have reached “Network” and go down to “Internet Browser” and hit “X”
  • Your browser will appear, select the little square box to enter the web address, play around with the different options. Have fun with your PSP online

My psp wont work it has green and blue lines on the screen and a cracked symbol on the inside of the scrren

This means your screen is broken. You should get a replacement screen. This is better than buying whole new PSP. Some screens sell for about $75, but I can give you a site that sells PSP screens for 29.95 (last time I checked).

The site is: http://bestofferbuy.com

Replacing screens takes time, effort, and skill. If you've never taken apart a PSP before, visit http://llama.com/PSP

Which System is better?...

PSP is better in my opinion, the games are better and usually you can get older games for it for about $20.00 or cheaper in most cases.

Graphics are fantastic, and the system is more durable in my opinion. Usually you can go to Gamestop and buy used games for the PSP really cheap.
