To bad you dismantled. Here is the turning sequence:
General Turning Sequence Instruction NOTE SAFE MODEL 5054/5055/5059/5080/5081/5084/5111/5190/5195/5575/5700/5702.
Combinations consist of FOUR (4) positions (numbers).
BEFORE YOU START
Before you begin, please clear all settings by turning the dial CLOCKWISE (to the right)
three times. We also recommend to try the procedure with your safe door open first. Then
follow these steps:
TURNING SEQUENCE
1. Start the dial on 0 (zero).
2. Turn the dial to the RIGHT, passing your first combination number FOUR (4)
times and stopping at that number on the fifth time around.
3. Turn the dial to the LEFT, passing your second combination number TWO (2)
times and stopping at that number the third time around.
4. Turn the dial to the RIGHT, passing your third combination number ONE (1) time
and stopping at that number the second time around.
5. Turn the dial to the LEFT, to the last combination number and STOP.
6. Insert the key in the cylinder lock and turn RIGHT to open.
Your safe should now be opened.

I called Sisco, who now owns Brinks, and they told me that they now require you to send your model#, serial #, and key#, in a notorized letter stating that you own the safe.They can fax,email, or snail mail you the combination. The address is...

I just locked my combination in the safe......ok, so I was distracted! I called the 1-800 number. Here's what they said, write a letter including all the information about the safe...model #, key #, and serial #. Include also all of your contact info. Get it notorized and then fax it. I received a phone call from Cisco (the new company) within 24 hours with the combination.

To all with the model numbers listed below in this thread:
Call the number above, give them your model #, the serial number (located on the right side of the safe next to the model number), and your key code. They will provide you with the combination to your safe. The combo on my 5055 could not be changed; it is permanent. I would advise writing the numbers down, inputting them into your computer, backing up your computer, and keeping the backup offsite...maybe with parents or something. Whatever you do to keep your personal info safe in the case of a fire.
I asked about the safety of this??? They are starting a new program in a couple months that will require owners to submit a certified affidavit confirming ownership. I would recommend calling them back early next year to inquire about pre-registering to avoid issues in the future of having to do it and creating a possible delay in accessing important docs.

FOR KEY/ combo The Company is ADT security web site. same one for home security,. To order new key you need to verify with signed notarized affidavit the key is like $9.00 and for combo you need safe model and serial.
the combination is 1 turn right for first of four numbers 3 times left for second number 2 times right for 3rd and one time left for fourth

HERE IS THE SOLUTION - go to website firstalert.com. On the bottom right hand side, click on combination/key request form. Print out, sign, notarize and send in, they will call you with combination.

1. Fresh batteries
2. hold the asterisk until the screen says "open"
3. enter a code (or start at 0001 and go to 9999) and hit #
4. Turn the key to open
most people use four digit PIN codes, so this assumes that...
