Possible bad door switch, thermostat or timer issue, call for service, make sure the tech. knows how to fix Asko dishwashers as that is what is in on the inside. Be sure that you are getting power to the unit.

I had the same problem although my dishwasher quit working in mid cycle. Once it quit, there was no power to the unit. I replaced the thermal coupling fuse and that solved the problem.

My dishwasher stops mid cycle, beeps and the lights blink. I push start/resume and it starts and then stops mid cycle again. It hasn't finished a cycle in over a week.

I am doing all this and nothing! No lights turn on briefly, no short cycle begins..nothing. It will work 1 cycle then not a cycle, I have reset with turning off breaker, using the key sequence above, thought it was a drain issue, replaced the hoses. And here we are machine is not even a year old yet. Help

My kenmore elite model # 665.15934000 quit working in mid cycle. Now I do not have any lights on the control panel. The breaker is on. What could be the problem? Doug

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If the cycle doesn't complete, then the first thing that should be checked is the Timer and then the heating element. Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Water isn't flowing in through the spinners in the dishwasher.

Look at the end of the wash and no water in the bottom, it is OK. The water is pumped out through the pump. Hence you would have found the water mid way. Pump will start after the wash cycle is fully finished it's function or as per the float level!

Dishwasher starts but never seems to come out of wash cycle

Hi,

Check to see if the unit is heating. Open the door mid cycle. If the unit doesn't heat then the unit cannot advance to the next step in the programme. it is basically waiting to reach temperature which it won't if the heating element or thermostat has blown. Hope this helps.

Viking Dishwasher Timer Dial not advancing

The timer has given it up.  The motor has probably stopped working or the gears are jammed.  You'll need to obtain and change the timer.  Generally, there are face mounted screws that may or may not be behind some covers.  Remove them to get to the panel that holds the timer.

No power

Hi lushman001

I'm Harvey the Master Plunber.

Your question is: your 3-yr-old dishwasher (Whirlpool 24-inch ) stopped in mid-cycle. A small amount standing water in the bottom of the washer. None of the control panel buttons were lit up and none of them will work. NO POWER

First check all the breakers (or fuses).
Second check the electrical connections. If you're not a qualified electrician or service tech then call one. It"s under the unit behind the kickplate.

Feel free contact me again!
