Most 2 stroke Homelite chainsaws run on a fuel/oil mix of 50:1 --- But on some older model saws they say to use 40:1 mix.
I own several 2 stroke machines and I use 50:1 on everything and they all run fine ( even when they say 40:1 ).

What gas does a Homelite 16 " Ranger chain saw use

The recommended fuel mixture is a 50-to-1 ratio of unleaded gasoline and two-cycle engine oil, and the manufacturer recommends the use of a two-cycle oil that contains fuel stabilizer to keep the mixture fresh if you are not using it immediately.

I cannot locate my owners manual and have not used the Homelite Ranger 16 inch in quite some time --- What is the fuel and oil requirement??

Would bet it is 32:1 but many people now days are using a 50:1 mixture using a synthetic 2 cycle engine oil with 89 octane fuel even for 16:1 ratio. Claiming no carbon buildup and more power.????

Just got a homelite 33cc 14 inch chain saw, do you mix gas and oil on this chain saw?

Yes you do! The ratio is 50:1 fuel to oil. Be sure to use a modern synthetic saw oil available at home centers, hardware stores, and saw dealers. Be sure to use fresh fuel and mix the two in it's own container. Be sure to shake the container thoroughly each time just before refueling to prevent oil starvation in the engine. Don't make up more than one gallon at a time unless sawing is your business. Hope this helps!

What is the oil to gas ratio for a homelite zr 10926 16 chain saw

This is a current Homelite product although not your saw. This clearly recommends 50:1 as do I. I find no OM for your saw, a "Ranger 33cc 16" Chain Saw UT-10926"
http://www.homelite.com/product_manual/file_url/66/UT10540_60_80_QSG.pdf
Dolmar, Echo, Efco, Homelite, Husqvarna, Jonsered, Makita, Oleo-Mac, Red Max, Ryobi, Shindaiwa, Solo, Spear & Jackson, Stihl & Tanaka; all recommend 50:1 and have for a number of years.
1 gallon of premium fuel to 2.6 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil.
4 liters of premium fuel to 80 milliliters of quality 2-cycle oil.

I suggest you contact Homelite and request an OM for your saw.

Please ask they prove a link to a site where ALL homelite product OMs may be accessed.

What is the oil-gas mix for a homelite superxl chainsaw? For 1 gal.

16:1 ratio for most 2-stroke oil brands. A service manual recommends tro check the ratio marked on the bottle if using Homelite brand 2-stroke oil. For other oils, 16 parts of gas to 1 part of oil.

For 1 gal of fuel, that is 270cc of oil required to meet the 16:1 ratio.
