I downloaded the software from HP for my PSC 1350 All-in-One, and it ran on my XP machine, got to 100% extracted, then the screen just went to my desktop..... No action..... No install wizard. No indication of where the files extracted to, if anywhere..? I looked in Add-Remove Programs and it wasn't listed there. I do have another HP deskjet installed on the same machine, which I also use and don't want to give up. I've tried downloading and installing all of the fixes associated with the 1350 printer, and both the Basic software package, and the complete. No matter which software package I pick, I never get an installation wizard pop up. I tried having HP detect it and ran through the process with the same results. Is there a way I can get just the .sys or .dll or .inf files I need and put them in some directory and have it work? My computer sees the printer, but installation always fails because it can't find the install files, and I can't point it to a .exe file and have that work. Thanks!!! Driving me nuts!

OK, sorry to hear about your trouble with the All-N-1
If your are looking for the software needed for your unit, you can find them at HP.com

If you have the All-N-1 hooked up, you will need to disconnect it while installing the program.
Later, as the program loads, it will ask you to power on unit and plug in USB connection.

The entire process may take as long as 20 minutes from start to finish.
P.S. if you have a 1350, your load will be for a 1300 series unit.
If you are using XP, or VISTA, make sure you a installing the correct driver.

it is very possible that because you have another hp printer active with that computer, and the software from the new hp printer may be conflicting with the software already installed into that computer, and becuase of that, the computer automatically drops the new installation of the software from the new printer, just like it never happened, in almost any case, you will have to uninstall the whole software program from the other printer already installed into that computer, and install the new software into your computer, if that still doesnt work, then your new printers software, the new printer, or both are not compatable with your computer
