I am trying to change the names that appear on my phones i.e. people who have left but names still appearing

From a landline, I never heard you can change or modify it yourself bc the phone company perm registers your info into their systems appears exactly according to the billing names. However, you can request not to have your name not to appear when calling someone that also depends on the phone service company who you have service with.

your name appears on the phone you are calling and their name appears on yours so that you know who you are calling

When the machine is printing a
document stored using the copier
function, wait until printing has
finished before you store a document
in the Document Server.
A Press the {Document Server} key.
B Press [Scan Original].
C Enter a file name, user name, or
password if necessary.

To register or change the user name
A Press [Scan Original].
The Scan Original display appears.
B Press [User Name].
If user names are already registered,
the Change User Name display
appears. To use an
unregistered user name, press
[Non-programmed Name].
When no user name are registered
in the Address Book, the User
(Destination) Name entry display
appears.
When using a registered user
name in the Address Book
ASelect a registered user name
from the list, and then press
[OK].
To change your user name to an
unregistered user name, proceed
to the next step.

To change the file name
A Press [Scan Original].
The Scan Original display appears.
B Press [File Name].
The Change File Name display appears.
C Press [Delete All] to delete the old
file name.

- You can also use [Backspace] to
delete unnecessary characters.


D Enter a new file name, and then
press [OK].
Note
- Up to 20 characters can be entered
as a file name. Note that
only 15 characters of each file
name appear in the document
list.

To set or change the password
A Press [Scan Original].
The Scan Original display appears.
B Press [Password].
C Enter a password using the
number keys (four-to eight-digits),
and then press the {#} key.
D Reenter the password (four-to
eight-digits) for verification, and
then press the {#} key.
E Press [OK].

Try Feature ** ADMIN (23646) and password 23646. This should let you in to make name and time changes.

You can try doing a restore from itunes. Plug the phone in, start itunes, then click on your phone on the left hand menu. Then restore it to factory settings. After doing that, you can try to unlock it again.

First remark: This phone is not 3G compatible !!! the name is i9+ 3G but it's only the name !!! Second: Go to settings , Dual SIM settings , and check that you're not in 'flight mode' (that's when the 2 X appear top left) and change it to either one of the 3 other options (Dual sim open, only sim1 open, only sim2 open). Third: The name will appear when the person is in your address book.

To Program an extension name:

1 Press the TRSF key and dial 104
2 Enter the name using the dial keypad like you are texting
When the next character you want appears on the same key press the volume UP key to move the cursor on space to the right.
To make any changes press the volume DOWN key to move the cursor to the left .
If you want lower case letters press the A key brfore entering letters.

3 Press the TRSF key to store the name

3. On password type 266344 (wont show the numbers as you putting them in)
4. Terminal + extns will appear, press line 6
5. Find ext number, type number and the name will show up
6. Press line 6, line access will appear
7. Press line 7 twice and change will appear
8. Enter the name then press line 1

End session and save
