How do I get my Nokia 6790 out of offline mode?

Offline mode in nokia means your simcard is in the offline. When you try to insert another simcard in the 1st boot of your phone it will say "use in offline mode" just click the "no".

Your phone likely to be offline mode automatically when it might not have detected your SIM Card. the Sim may not have been place in well. off your phone and check the SIM if it was properly inserted. on it again and your nokia cell phone will ask you if you still want to continue in offline mode? click no. and the offline settings will change.

Please press the power off button a little to enter profiles menu, in that you have general, silent etc select those, this will put you online, also accept the notice as yes on the screen.


or go to profiles tab from the screen itself.

Use the power button to switch from offline mode to general mode.This would solve your problem.

go to profile and select genral

simple, press the power on/off button once and select "GENERAL"

IT IS YOUR SIM CARD PROBLEM
CONTACT YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER AND ASK FOR DUPLICATE OR NEW SIM

take the sim card and put it bck again.restart it...there it will say "CONTINUE IN OFFLINE MODE?"....select no there...choose another profile and press ok...offline mode will b disabled....
