There is a leak somewhere! I walked into the room while the washer and dryer were going and stepped into a little puddle of water. Upon closer inspection, I noticed water droplets on EVERYTHING in the room including the walls. It was almost a steam room in there, but the appliances finished their runs without alarm and the clothes were clean and dry. Of course, I can't continue to run them like that, but where can the water be coming from?

To get water on the walls indicates that a hose from the taps to the back of the machine is loose or cracked allowing pressure to spray the walls
check all hoses and connections

SOURCE: water leaking from wash machine

It is probably a seal that is on or near the bottom of the tub. Dirt and grim wears at this seal over time. The leak is slow so it is hard to visually see.

SOURCE: Grease, or some substance on clean clothes

You need to thouroughly clean the large door seal in all of its grooves and the inside of the door as well. Just put on gloves and use detergent to do this and rags or pape rtowels. Also make sure the inside of the tub is clean and that you are not overfilling the washer. Good luck.

use Affresh. It is a tablet that you put into your washer and run it alone. You can buy it where you buy your front load washers. I bought it at Best Buy. hope this helps

SAMSUNG MODEL DV218AEB/XAC LEAKING WATER

Dryers don't use water, washing machines do, so it's probably the washer.

If the dryer is drying, then it's not moisture.

Check the house drain for the washer, watch it drain and make sure it's not backing up, check the drain hose.

Washing machine leaking water from underneath

It is possible it is just a loose hose or it could mean your trmp or the tub itself is leaking. I would try going to the back of the machine and take off the bottom panel.and take off the back panel. After removal start it and observe where the leak is happening.

I keep walking into my kitchen to find a strange little puddle of water near the front left of the fridge. cannot find a trail from under the fridge so i have no idea where it's coming from. is there a pan...

could be the defrost pan / ck it for crackes / some times it's the water valve leaking through . due to water pressure changes . put a paper towel in disp and see if it gets wet at night . and if you have a large dog that drinks from it at night this also could be the problem ( ha ha // ) but it has happened .mm

Small puddle of water underneath washer when wash cycle was completed.

That could be 1 of a couple things.

1) During the agitate cycle... some water could've made it out of tub.

2) Possible Tub Crack (or overflow line)

3) Check your inlet lines

I would run it again watching it very carefully to determine if any of these are the problem.

Puddle under 1 yr old washing machine hours after it is finished

Sounds like either the gasket on the inlet is leaking or not tight or the solenoid housing is cracked causing the leak. When its in use the pressure from the line is realased when the solenoid is opened letting water in. When not in use the solenoid stays closed allowing pressure from the line to build causing the gasket to leak. Check your gaskets, and solenoid housing for leaks and then check to make sure your water pressure is not set too high.
