May be a bad door switch. Washers usually let you open the machine (top load) while in wash, but not for rinse and spin because of the high speed. If the door switch is bad, it may think the door is always open and therefore wont go past the wash cycle.

first off how old is this machine?
you could look to see if the door switch is being made up, most problems come from the switch not being made up, it tells the rest of the machine to perform the rest of the functions, try that and let me know.

The machine does a quick test to determine if the spline is engaged before spin commences. The way it works is the tub fills with water and floats for wash. When the pump removes the water for spin the spline don't always line up. So artificial intel will give it a slight test to see if the basket is locked. I have a bravos manual that shows how it works I know yours is an Oasis but I believe these are all basically the same. See page 23

does it drain after the wash cycle? if it does, then I don't think it's the timer. It uses the same contact there as for the rinse cycle. Do you hear the motor running as if it's trying to drain? If the motor is running, perhaps the pump itself is no good? Just a couple things to check. Hope it helps.

the fill valve is an electric magnet valve and sounds like it is stuck unplug machine disconnect water lines plug in and when u turn on does it click, if yes then unplug try to slide a long qtip in and if it goes in replace valve

you both seem to have bad lid switches. A bad lid switch will prevent draining and spinning.
