I cannot log out of fb properly,when I close and open later I see my fb account running and not only on my PC alone but including even when I use commercial internet cafe'. So I want to be properly closing my fb account pls.

I tried myself a few years ago to delete my FB account and after trying a lot of ways to cancel it, even contact them to close it - no success!
So, I just ignore it and never used it again. Years after I decided to go back on FB, and there it was - but forgot my password. After a hazzle to got my old password, I opened a new FB account. So, the old one still exists.
I do not know if FB really close any accounts of people asking them, and that makes me wonder what about people that passed away that was on FB? Will their accounts be there forever?

it may be like a phone once you have set up an account to sign into it automatically stores that 1, so u would need to set up another log in account manually & then when u attempt to log in it will ask which 1 u want, if you cant set up more than 1 account, then u have to manually delete yours & then use his.

Log into FB and then click on settings from the drop down list on the far right hand side at the top. Click on security and click on deactivate account. Follow the steps to close the account. This will make your account unavailable on FB.

However, please note that FB does not delete the account. It will re-activate as soon as you log in to the account again. It is my understanding that FB will never delete the account only deactivate it (have a good read of their terms of service).

I suggest you use two different browsers. For example use two of Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Firefox under Windows; or Safari and Firefox under Mac OS X.

Use one browser to open your own FB account, and a different browser to open your wife's FB account. Once you have entered your username and password in each browser for the respective FB account, and don't delete cookies, each browser will remember your respective account.

To easily access FB when you open your browser, add the FB site to your Favorites or Bookmarks bar.

You can open a new Incognito/Private window and log in your Facebook there. once you close this window your login info won't be saved and you're sure that your daughter won't end up logged with your account on your Facebook.
It's called "Incognito" on Chrome, "Private Browsing" on Firefox.

Sounds like your account was either deleted or closed...Contact FB and they can help you restore your account.

Please inform all your contacts by email of this and desist from using facebook.

If you have your way make a list of all your contacts and open a new fb account with a substitute email address informing your trusted contacts. It could be someone really close to you.

I bet when i experienced this and contacted facebook I was told that I was the cause by using a weak password. But I later discovered that there are password cracking tools here and there.

Set a password that is mixed with letters and 4 digit numbers which makes it a lot secure for no one to break even you when you forget.

Sorry and be more careful next time. I know what it means to be bugged.
