There is a yellow nob under the seat ,next to that nob there should be a picture that shows push up for lock and push down to unlock...

First make sure that you have the scooter off
Second make sure that the yellow nob is in the lock position
Third turn the key on that should cure the beeping ...

This happens alot ,when your brake is of the scooter will beep, letting you know the brake needs to be engaged .

Hope I was of some help ,Good luck

Check if your alarm is on, try and disarm it and make sure your battery is charged up.

Why can't I start my scooter?

We do not know what make and model, so the standard answer will have to do. Things to Check. 1. do have a key, yes plug in and turn it on, 2. disconnect the charger, it won't let you go with it plugged in. 3. the parking brake lever either under or behind the drivers seat, flip the lever so it is difficult to push, then retry. is there any indication of life lights, horn, flashing or beeping?

Scooter troubleshooting

Check or beeping or flashing error codes and see what they mean. If unit over 15 years old and does not have on-board computer you have to do the old school testing. More information needed.

If brake is off before you turn the key on, engage the brake and then turn key on and try to drive it. Brake should disengage when you try to drive it.

Constant beeping but scooter will move

okay there sounds like there either water somewhere or condensation ?

place the whole scooter in a warm room next to a radiator, not too close but close enough so it gets the warmth leave it like this to dry out, this has worked for me, water causing a short either under the tiller panel or where the controller is situated.

Gogo elitescooter lights indicate battery fully charged but scooter will not go

Make sure the free-wheel lever is engaged and the charger is unplugged from the scooter before you try to turn the scooter on. If the battery gauge goes up when you turn the scooter on and there are no beeping sounds you should be good to go.If the battery gauge drops to the red when you try to accelerate slowly, your batteries are shot. (Typical replacement in 24-48 months). If there is any beeping when the key is first turned on then there is a problem and the number of beeps indicates the problem found by the computer during the POST. Door lock light flashing when machine running

The flashing nlight usually indicates the door is not closed properly.
This can be caused by a weak or broken spring in the door handle.
If this is o/k, then it could be the door lock, or a fault on the control module.
Check all connectioins to the door lock and the module.
