Hi

Error FH means that a water inlet problem has occurred. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. If the machine is not filling then check whether both valves at water source are turned ON and inlet hose are not plugged. If the machine is filling fine then chec the pressure switch hose and the drain hose for siphoning (also make sure water is not flowing back to the machine from drain hose). Check wire harness connections to: Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU). Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Code in digital display does not have a E in front of it

Please let me know if you can get a number after this - if so what number shows up?

Model differences:
• Better models have a digital readout display
• Good models do not have a digital readout display
In the Better Models line, the failure codes will appear in the display as an E followed by two numbers, a number and a letter
or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, Final Spin and Control indicator lights will flash.
Example: E14. To stop the flashing and beeping, the customer may touch the Pause Cancel button. The error code remains
stored in the control but once the problem is corrected, it does not effect the operation of the washer. If the failure is something
that the customer can correct (such as the water faucets being turned off), the washer will operate normally the next time it is
started.
In the Good Models line, the control signals the failure code by flashing the five indicator lights of Door Lock, Wash, Rinse,
Final Spin and Control for the first number or letter after the E and the Start indicator light for the second number or letter
after the E. When a failure occurs, the washer stops or pauses and the control beeps and flashes the five indicator lights to tell
the customer that a failure has occurred. To stop the flashing and beeping, the customer may touch the Pause Cancel button.
The error code remains stored in the control but once the problem is corrected, it does not effect the operation of the washer.
If the failure is something that the customer can correct (such as the water faucets being turned off), the washer will operate
normally the next time it is started.
To recall an error code,
• Wake the machine by pressing any button
• Wait 5 seconds
• Press and hold the Start and Pause Cancel buttons simultaneously
• All LEDs will go blank and after a few seconds the control will signal the stored code using audible beeps and blinking
LEDs. The control will repeatedly signal the code, as long as the Start and Pause Cancel buttons are pressed.
A two-second pause between repeats affords you the ability to make accurate counts to identify the correct error codes.
Please Note the following...... on a small number of washers with serial number prefix XC4,
if the previous procedure does not perform as specified, follow the option below:
• Follow all previous steps but instead of pressing Start and Pause Cancel buttons,
press and hold Options and Pause Cancel buttons.
If the washer is a Better Model, the error code will appear in the display. Troubleshoot problem by using charts on the
following pages.
If the washer is a Good Model, the five indicator lights of Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, Final Spin and Control will flash the
number of times for the first digit of the code and the Start indicator light will flash the number of times for the second digit.
Take
separate counts of each indicator light, then repeat to confirm in order to be accurate in identifying the proper error code.
The code is obtained by counting the number of times the lights flash. Example E24: The five indicator lights would flash twice
indicating the 2 and the START indicator light will flash four times indicating the 4. The five indicator lights and the START
indicator light start flashing at the same time.
The control will pause for 2 seconds, then repeat the code as long as the two buttons are pressed and held.
Note: A letter appearing in the code stands for a number higher than nine:
A = 10 B = 11 C = 12 D = 13 E = 14 F = 15
Example Code F1: the first digit would be 15 and the second digit would be 1. If this code would appear on a washer in the
Good model line, the five indicator lights would blink fifteen times and the START indicator light would blink once.

Every time i turned on washer after 2mins into wash it will start to beep and the letter F will start to flash immediately the letter H will flash as well. It does not matter at what level or load I...

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

FH error is displayed when the control detects no water entering the machine. To clear this error press and hold the PAUSE/CANCEL button twice. You can then check if the water inlet valve is fine and not clogged with foreign particles, try to clean it. If the water inlet valve appears to be fine then check if the pressure switch hose is properly connected to the pressure switch & tub. Please get back to me if you have any questions.

My Whirlpool Duet ht Washer starts washing fine, it drains then it starts flashing FH and wont take in water for the rinse cycle. It does this for every cycle, it will wash fine but after it drains and is...

The first thing I would check is shut off the cold water valve at the wall and remove the hose at the washer.carefully pry out the little screen in the inlet and clean well, reconnect hose and turn water back on FH is a water inlet issue I am hoping that what is happening is that when the washer starts its wash cycle it is probably filling with warm (hot) and cold water at the same time even though it might be mostly hot,but when it comes time to rinse (cold water ) there is not enough to make the computer happy and you get your FH error.. Hope this Helps,,If not your probley looking at a new fill valve assy

A few seconds into a wash cycle the letters F H flash and beep and the cycle won't continue. what does this mean??

fh means fill hose make sure that water is comeing out of each hose by detaching from washer and filling a bucket. does water come out of hot and cold? check and make sure your fill valve washers are not clogged with sand. if neither of these things fix it I believe you have a bad flow meter. take the kick panel off by removing the 3 torque screws look to the right side you will see the tech sheet. read the fh error code. let me know how it goes. Do you have flood stop hoses if so get ride of them right away they cause a ton of problems with all washers.

Kenmore elite he3 flashing FH

The following link explains the "FH" error:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r615354-fh_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

This can be a rather tough one to figure out, even with the error code explanation. I would recommend unplugging the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes first. This will reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). In many cases this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code reappears, check your washer installation to rule out the easiest possiblities, first. This means checking to ensure you don't have a siphoning condition, checking your drain lines and checking to ensure your fill hoses aren't kinked or clogged. Read through the link thoroughly and let me know if you have questions. I hope this helps you.

Help with whirlpool awm 8103/1

Okay, ther manufacturer recommends unplugging the washer for at least 30 minutes to reset the computer. It could be you have a momentary glitch causing some problems. If you still have the same problem after leaving the washer unplugged, the following link explains the "FH" error code:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r615354-fh_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

If your clothes are stuck inside and you still cannot get them out because the door will not unlock, you will have to use the manual release to open the door. The next link explains how:
