A friend of ours has a bosch gas dryer and she had the similar problem. She called the Bosch repairman and he came out to her house and sprayed the lint filter with Greased Lightning to clean out the tiny holes in it. He charged $100 and left. He said it would take care of the problem. Has not had any problems since. http://www.greased-lightning.com/ It is worth a try. Good luck.

Same error occurs on the electric dryer. The problem for me was that the dryer vent to the outside still had the screen on, so lint and other dirt piled up at the vent. I removed the obstruction and removed the vent screen, and the error goes away.

Do you use dryer sheets? The chemical in dryer sheets seal up the little holes in the lint filters. To test, take the lint filter to the sink and see if it holds water. If it does, give it a good scrub and toss out the dryer sheets.

NEXXT 6500 Dryer Bosch continues to give E01 error with lint filter flashing

Try cleaning out the compartment below the lint filter. There's a sensor in there that is probably buried in lint.

My dryer runs for several minutes, then starts beeping and an error code E: 01 is displayed. I've tried unplugging it for 30 minutes, but that was no help. Any ideas?

Hello,

This means that the dryer is not able to exhaust correctly. Often times this is caused by kinked or blocked vent behind the dryer. If that looks ok, the vent in the wall may need to be cleaned. In this case or in most a professional dryer vent cleaner would be needed to clean the dryer vent.

One last thing you can check is the lint screen. On Bosch dryers the lint filter will become clogged from the dryer sheets. Remove the lint filter and run water through it. If water runs through, the lint filter is good.

I know this unit well and can assists you with any repair related question you have.

Keeps beeping with error message either E12 or Cln

Most dryers have safety features that detect air flow blockage. Check to see if the vent hose is clogged. Considering u just installed it yesterday it sound like the vent hose is clogged. Clear the hose al the way to outside. Sometimes it can be clogged on the exhaust vent on the outside of your house.

Lint filter light flashing...on off light flashing. Cleaned lint filter and checked vent. Vacumed and brushed out lint area. Will not turn on.

We had the same problem as many here have described. After cleaning out the vent system with compressed air and a vacuum cleaner, the appliance still failed to start. I unplugged the unit for a few minutes, turned it back on and it still failed to start. I turned the rotary dial to "SHORT" pressed start and it worked!!!! Not sure if thats the magic sequence or i just got lucky but Good luck.

Bosch Nexxt 500 Plus Elect Dryer Error E01

Absolutely those dryer sheets are the root of all evil....I would also recommend a good vent brush to clean your dryer vent.
Follow these steps, it worked for me:
1. use a shop vacuum to clean out the dry vent or a vent brush.
2. Clean your lint filter with windex, hot water and and soft bristle brush.
If this doesnt work try running the until disconnected from the vent for a cycle to isolate the vent as your issue.

Cheers!

You have a plugged exhaust vent in the house wall.  Remove the vent from the back of the dryer and run the dryer.  The problem should go away.  You will need to call a qualified vent cleaning company to remove the lint restrictions inside the wall.

Bosch WTL5400 Condensation Dryer

We continuously had a similar problem with signals forever coming on after just a few dryer loads. The problem was corrected when we took the back off of the dryer and cleaned the recirculating fan and removed a rubber glove that somehow came through the system and blocked the air flow at the heating element. Low air flow is the same as plugged filter and apparently the computer in our German-made Bosch dryer simply says that. We cleaned the area well, removed all traces of the glove and restored the dryer to operation. We have not had the filter problem since. We routinely clean the heater area at the back of the dryer to maintain our sanity. And we now dry our clothes. Bosch never responded to my query.
