IF you didn't set a password then at the login screen :
Login ... leave blank ( some models use the word admin)
Password admin
IF you set a password and forgot it you need to restore the unit back to defaults and erconfigure the router
To restore press the reset button using a toothpick or similar item. Its located on the back next to the WAN port connection
You have to have the settings right. And the encryption keys. ipod uses WEP...but I have WPA2 on my wifi and I got mine to work. Go on your computer and log onto your router (192.168.1.1 will usually get you there) If you have a modem and a separate router, you should know both of them, although you will probably only need the router's information. Make sure you know "what kind" of encryption you have (WEP/WPA/WPA-2) ..and, you must know the key (the password) ...then set it up in the other equipment. It must have dropped the setting somehow.
You can connect 2 routers to each other. But the IP address will be different for both the routers . It will be better to keep different names for the wireless network. If you keep the same name, then it doesn't mean that the signal strength will be good. Because both the routers will broadcast their own signals. If you want to increase the signal strength then you can purchase a wireless range expander. Click Here for more info about the networking
Yes.
1. Disable the DHCP in the belkin router.
2. Take the cable from the LAN port of the Linksys router to the LAN port of the Belkin Router.
3. Dont touch anything else in any of the routers.
This should help
Thanks

Try changing the channel on the router. It would be better to isolate the problem first by trying to connect to other wireless networks on your laptop or having someone's laptop connect to your home wireless network.
