Using a multimeter, check the power going to the amplifier for around 12 volts, and check the remote wire for anywhere from 3 to 12 volts. If power is getting to the amplifier and the remote wire is signalling the amp to turn on, check the fuse/s on the amplifier. If the fuse is not blown, have the amplifier checked out by a stereo shop or send it to the manufacturer for warranty repairs.

Funai magnavox model#37md359b-7 when turned on for amp fuse blows on circuit board

Could be 100 things. Do you see any burnt components or burnt spots on the board? Probably no way for you to fix this unless you have the electronics repair skills unless you visually spot a short on the board like a loose screw that ended up laying on a couple of components etc.

Fisher & paykel waterpump / Burnt smell clothing

ok, have you checked for power at the power point? if you have power to the machine and the display doesn't light up after you have turned the power point on then your control module is faulty. only the phase 5 models don't power up if the pump is faulty, your machine is a phase 2 with a blue control module. by the way, what part of the machine did you pull apart? i think your pump was faulty which made the control module faulty. check the pump for a burning smell. if it is burnt then i"m sure your module is too. please reply if you need more help to fix this problem.please turn off the power b4 you work on it, don"t want any accidents . good luck.

My audiobahn amplifier isnt working, the status

it maybe fixable. the problem is that when you find what is burnt or messed up, you replace it. after that you need to find out why it burnt or messed up. i wouldnt recomend trying to fix it your self unless you wanna chance it. but if you take it to a technician that can fix it the will be able to tell you if it can be repaired. also check your power and ground wires. make sure youre getting 12 volts to the amp. check your subs and make sure they are good. a bad sub will put a amp into protect. good luck.
