It sounds like the fuse that protects you cigarette lighter is blown.

After you have replaced the fuse, check the voltage again. 0.015vdc would not have powered anything that in manufactured to operate on 12vdc.

When powering anything over about 250W, I would suggest connecting directly to the battery to avoid overloading the lighter circuit.

Probably bad power. My roady 2 does it with poor power coming in,like on a really long extension cord with other stuff running while camping or something. Or using the car adapter with cheap 12v cig lighter to 110ac adapter.

12 volt is standard the gps system might convert the 12 volts from the bike to 5 volts to run the gps system don't worry just hook it up there is no motorcycles or cars that run on 5 volts

Remove the cord from the cigarette lighter and check to see if the fuse is good. They blow out from time to time.

May have a bad docking station? Check power AT THE PLUG. I believe that it is 5 volts.Check fuse inline of the cig adapter by unscrewing the tip. Fuse is inside.

yes, some sirius radios work on 5 volts, and some work on 12 volts. Your sportster replay is a 5 volt unit. If you trace that wire back, you will find a cigarette lighter plug with a transformer built into it, with either wires soldered to the terminals, or a female cig plug wired up behind the dash. Whatever sirius unit you plan on hooking up, I strongly reccommend using the transformer that it came with......however if you're willing to take a chance, it's most likely 5 volts.
