I have 11 mixers in a band set up. I have one unit that does not have one channel. The rest of the units are fine. I have swapped mixers and there was no change in the problem. Do I have a bad port on the distro hub?

It is NOT likely that the hub is bad... the data stream goes all over the same cable. I would say the personal mixer has a problem and MAY be associated with the selection switch for the channel that appears dead... that is, it may be that you just are unable to select that channel and control the gain due to a bad switch.

Master volume not registering at correct level. Profx12

This unit will require an amp. I have set up several mixers and I
do not watch output level numbers, you can get desired volume using amp. It does no good to drive input levels high output levels high and the turn down amp. Lower your inputs so no light flashes set master gain to -6 output and then raise amp volume. I have set up 16 mic mixer set individual levels and the feed to main mixer and controlled levels with one fader. I have taken mixes from main mixer to another mixer to control audio on video feed. A good band does not let member's set their levels . the audio person set levels, bad bands have members to set own level with resultant a mess that gets louder and produces sub par event. Remember good bands sound good and bad bands only sound louder, and bad

Onyx 4880 48 channel mixer

Are you actually sending a signal to the effects unit? normally you would have it in an insert although I know some people who take a sub channel out to the effects unit and then feed it back in through a mix channel if they run out of inserts or aux busses. What you describe above does not make sense to me. Can you elaborate with the full signal path for the effects unit?

RMS PM 10400s not turning on suddenly

They may have ran it too hard and blew the outputs and thus blew the main fuse. You will have to check to see if the main fuse is blown...It should be located around the ac cord...sometimes it is built into the ac receptacle where the cord plugs in...other times it is inside the unit and requires dis-assembly which should be taken to a qualified technician......unless you know what you are doing...and do not plug the unit in while you are looking for the fuse or taking the unit apart. If you do not know anything about electronics then DO NOT touch it...get a qualified techician to take a look.

Connecting compressor and equalizer to pmp5000

Use a two channel INSERT SNAKE. Plug the TRS connector for each channel into the INSERT jack for the mains in the area above the effects unit. Plug the TIP of each channel of the snake into the input of your effects unit and the RING plug into the output of your effects. The snake has ONE TRS connector and TWO TS connectors per channel.

Have a problem with the xp510i - left channel has no output to speaker. Tested with other speaker and cable - appears to be the mixer.

"Tested with other speaker and cable" ... you did not tell us the results of the test. If swapping the speakers and cablles still had the same dead side, it is probably the power amp for that side and not the mixer part. Take in for repair. If you had an accident of speaker cable not being plugged in fully or pulled out while operating, this pops the power amp real quick. They also just plain fail at times. Plug a set of headphones into the MONO out jack. If you can hear audio going through the unit then the mixer is OK... and the power amp on the failing side has a failure. Note the headphones will be low level and probably only one side, usually the left as this is a mono signal and headphones are normally stereo.

No power from amp outlets ..rest of mixer works fine

The amp module has likely blown. Repairs can be exetensive within the module. Try cycling the power as there is an overcurrent sensing in the amps that locks the switching signal off. Let the unit remain off for several minutes and retry it. This all assumes it has worked before and the cables are good. Also please read my tip on here about PMP mixers regarding a hazard on the A output when using Speakon to 1/4 inch cables. The A output s;leeve of a 1/4 inch jack is the HOT, NOT the tip of the plug, unlike the B output.

None of the channels work. Most of the LED lights work. Im going thru the beringer mixer for power but using another mixer.

If you plug into the PA input or inserts of this unit, that DISCONNECTS all the mixing channels within this unit and none in this unit will work. That is how it is supposed to work.

If you wish to use another mixer as well as the channels in this, I suggest you run the other mixer into one of the stereo channel inputs OR the CD inputs, although the CD are NOT balanced inouts and subject to higher noise level.

Hi, I would to say thanks a lots to let put some words on yours email box. It's just regarding about how to set up a live band gigs @ outdoor stage in to mixer system. In a mixer setting, i wana know how...

You will need at least a 24 channel mixer to give you spare channels. You also need an active crossover and a snake. The advice you need is too much to include here so I am including some links:http://mixonline.com/live/FixIts/, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_sound_mixing, http://mixinglivesound.com/blog/tag/outdoor-concerts/,http://mixinglivesound.com/blog/, and http://www.scribd.com/doc/11435651/Beginners-Guide-to-Mixing-Sound. You may need more monitors than you are planning on and you might consider in ear monitoring.
