SOURCE: sony cyber-shot dsc-w200 taking blurry pictures in auto mode...

Its due to slow shutter speed setting.
If you want to take moving object picture, set high speed shutter, there would an icon of golf stick that is for moving object pictures.

Actually the slide motor not work properly and until the lens not come out completely the camera will not work, that's why the error message appears "Access" and then screen shows "turn off the power and on again". In this situation you have to replace lens block assembly. And the part No. is with description is given below: 1-788-363-11 OPTICS UNIT (ED13A) Thanks for using fixya.

SOURCE: Sony Cyber-shot DSC- W55 takes blurry pictures

Hi!
The focus doesn't move as it should - it was stuck before you tapped it. Could be sand or something in it. I'm afraid you will have to give it away for a repair. You can contact your local Sony service center, but if they ask too much, I can offer you a very good price. My e-mail is [email protected]
I work in a Sony service center.

Hope this helps!

The lense is stuck inside of my sony cyber shot camera what to do

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ... Unfortunately, many cameras that fall prey to this can only be corrected by professional repair. But, here are some things that you can do that may correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try.

My Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S650 started showing unfocused shots about 7 months ago, and has worsened to almost every shot is unfocused. It does not matter what mode it is in, but I usually use the automatic...

It is problem of lens mechanism and only solution is to replace lens assembly. Local camera repair shop will help you to replace lens assembly because it is not user level repair.

My cyber shot's focus lens doesn't come out all the way.

It sounds like you may have a bad gear in the lens motor assembly. f you want to repair it yourself there is a guy in South Carolina who has lots of parts for all the Sony Cameras. I bought my LCD from him for $39.00 plus shipping and it works perfect. I put it in myself and saved a ton. If you buy the part from him he sends you pictures of him taking the camera apart so that you can repeat the process when you install it. I think his email is [email protected]
