The phose displays "A message for you" But there are no messages.
This could be because you have several mailboxes/extensions set up. We've had the same problem in our office.
As a result, from the phone that reads "Messages for you" you can find out which mailbox is attached to the phone.
1. Press "Feature"
The display will read: "Set: ???"
The numbers shown in place of the question mark will be the numbers to the mailbox attached to the phone.
2. Press "Feature"
Enter 981 for voice mail access
The display will read "Login: "
Enter the numbers from the previous action, and if you don't know the password, attempt to use the default passwords of 0000 or 1234.

If you don't know the password, but have access to the system administrator login, you can reset the password for the set you are trying to retrieve messages.

Constantly displays "Message for you" even when nothing is there - not even saved or old messages.
We have an T7208 that displays "message for you" but we can't retrieve the message.
