Hi there, first i suggest you clean the battery & chager connection point. After that remove the charger power cable from adeptor & fix it back. Now charge. If you face the same problem then try to find a charger for your battery testing. If your friend have that then good for you. At least you can confirm that your battery is ok or not. Or go to buy for a charger and in shop you fix your battery . If you face the same problem then dont buy the charger just buy the new battery. I hope you understand what i mean to say. It will save you money & low risk. Thanks.

Try replacing the battery, it seems a battery issue

Okay I just fixed this on my camera the same thing. First make sure your battery is charged. You will need to get a paper clip. Take the battery out and unfold the clip so that you can use it to pull up the contacts between the battery positive and negative and the camera. The conductors need to touch the positive and negative on the battery. If you battery is dead you will need to do this as it will not charge your battery on the cradle becaue there was no connection. over time I think that the battery loses its connection and the spring is not strong enough to push up the battery far enough. I ordered a battery charger and new battery and it still didnt work so I started to tinker with it. I held the battery with my finger pushing it up and holding it, and simaltaneuously powered on the camera. Thats when I figured it wasnt the battery but it wa the connection with the battery and the camera.

The chances are pretty good that the battery is bad. Buy a new battery - they are inexpensive.

First off your blinking battery light means you have a faulty battery and you need to have that replaced. Call tech support and they will replace that for you. Once that is charged up all the way then hopefully the camera will work properly for you. If not try resetting it.

I had the same problem, the charger kept blinking red when I attempted to charge the battery.
This morning I called casio and they are sending me a out a new battery free of charge, and i don't have to send the old one back. It only took about 10 minutes and they said I should get it in about a week or so. So hopefully this helps everyone who has the same issue as I did.
