I hope one of this two solutions solve your problem.

1- The brew group is out of place. Turn the machine on. Close the service door.
The brew group is automatically placed in the correct position.

2-Coffee grounds drawer is inserted. Remove the dregdrawer first, then the brew
group.

Google "Odea technical service manual ".

look at section 5.1.1 on how to put it into test mode.

hold down hot water or steam button while turning on the machine until the leds flash counter clockwise.
you can then set the dial and press hot water or steam button to move the brewing unit back to home position.

SOURCE: it is stuck in mode and I can't get the brew group

Hi
First off put everything back in the machine (drip tray, dredge drawer, and push the brew unit in till you hear a click) then close the door. Turn on the machine and see if it moves. If it doesn't, then try this.

Remove the dredge drawer. Open the door. On the left side of the brewing unit, and towards the back of the brew group, there is a single screw. Remove the screw. Grab the handle and pull carefully, but firmly with a quick ****. The brew group should come out. There is a piece that remains in the machine. Slide the piece down and to the right and it will come off. Insert the piece into the hole on the backside of the brew group with the clip up. Tighten the screw and move brew group back into position. If your brew group did not come out please give us a call.
To return the brew group to the centered position, you first need to drop the funnel. To do this, look on the opposite side of the brew group from the handle. At the top you will see an object that looks like a sharks fin. If you follow this piece down you will see 2 horizontal bars on the brew group body. Push your finger between these 2 bars and the funnel will drop. Now you can push the puck slide on the left side down and to the center. If you look down through the funnel you should see a piston. This should be centered in the funnel. If not, locate the slide on the left side of the brew unit,( it should be hanging down, a flat rectangular piece attached to the cylinder) and push the slide to the right until it does. Push the press button and you are now ready to reinsert the brew group in to the machine. First you must close the door and turn on the machine without having the brew group in. You will hear the motor turn on and when it stops completely, open the door and remove the tray, now insert the brew group and replace the tray.

SOURCE: i have a broken piece on my brew group, do i have

There are only a few parts on the brew unit that are replaceable, you might have to get a new one check with servicesunlimited, they might have either the diagram or the part needed.

SOURCE: Steady Brew Group Light: Old Saeco Magic deluxe

Open the door on the right. The brew unit is the thing with the handle that has the push on it. You need to push on the upper left side of the brew unit until it clicks. There is an outlet spout on the opposite side of where you are pushing. It goes into an intake port that needs to be lubed, so the outlet spout will slide in without pushing back. That should take care of the missing brew unit.

SOURCE: Spidem brew group stuck in machine in wrong position.

I had the same problem and just tried the above. The most important part was how to reset the drive problem so the brew group lined up with the drive shaft (in other words I could put the brew group all the way in the way it should be). The next problem was making sure I pushed the brew group in hard enough so the ! warning light went out. Once this was done I was back in action. Thanks to the above for their solution.

While performing the descaling the brew group gets stuck

Have you check if the knob on the top of the machine to distribute hot water is fully closed. If on the edge, you may not get hot water flowing but the light may be on.

Look on page 12 of the manual. It explain the the meaning of the led flashing or stayed on from the control panel

Good luck

My brew group was stuck, followed instructions and got it out and motor turned to correct position. Put it back together and now nothing...green light comes on and thats it. No motor sound, that's i

Unfortunately I cannot locate your problem or duplicate it. The various units that turn on the red "stop" light are the grounds container, the drip tray and the brew group. When they are reinstalled the light goes out . So if your brew group was stuck and you had to force it out then you should check very carefully that there are no cracks or breaks on the back. Remember this, the brew group must "click" into place and lock so that it does not move in and out unless the "Press" button is depressed. It is possible that one of the above switches that signals the motor to start is stuck, even if the red light is out, and not allowing the motor to turn on. I don't see the reason why your brew group was stuck to begin with. How did that happen?

Dump box and brew group stuck

sounds like you inserted the brew group wrong.
if stuck it can be sometimes a hassle to get it out.
ok try these options.
Turn on ,off and on again see if that straightens the brew group out. If not open the door and try to push the knob of the brew group, push it inward and than pull it out . Make sure you try it first with power off. If this does not work pull on the moment you power the machine on.
Let me know what happens. We'll fix it
