After a rather longish charging, the screen has gone blank (lights up but does not show anything). Can make and receive calls, alerts and alarms are working fine but unable to read anything on screen. I have tried switching off and on, reinserting batteries and SIM but in vain. Can someone suggest a fix to this problem? Reply by mailing at [email protected]After a rather longish charging, the screen has gone blank (lights up but does not show anything). You should have left it dry instead of turning it on, you probably have corrosion now, find a local place that works on phones to see if they'd work on it.
If you want to try to completely dry it, put it in rice for 24 hours minimum to draw out all moisture.
My Motorola Razor cellphone all of a sudden went blank, i took out the battery and put it back in and turned it on, but the keyboard just flashes and the screen stays blank, what do i do?
Either your flex cable is broken or came loose. Is the top left hinge button still intact? Is it loose at the hinge? You will need a Torx 4 screwdriver to take the LCD screen apart to check the flex cable inside.
this problem has probably occured due to the phone being knocked. i used to have a motorola l7 slvr and it did exactly the same, i found that if you hit the back of the phone fairly hard the screen would come back on. im not sure if it is the same for the razr but hey its worth a try. ti be honest i think motorola are terrible mobile phone manufacturers but great 2way radio manufacturers
