> reboot Vista without ... using the disc

Impossible.

Instead, save all your data and music and E-mail and contact files to an external disk-drive,
and then use the disc to reinstall Vista. Then, reload your data and music.

Hi, i have a big crash with my Toshiba satellite pc, with vista family home edition(32bites) caused by a virus type TROJAN-win32. As I couldn't do the reboot from my computer I found a recovery cd of vista...

boot into safe mode with networking ,run malwarebytes and get that to remove the virus. if your disc isn't compatible you can try using neo-smart's recovery discs (http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/)and burn that to disc and recover your vista that way

best of luck :)

Hi i have a Windows Vista Upgrade disc but has no product code on disc or box .please help

Your best bet is to contact the person or company you purchased this software from. Contacting Microsoft about this issue will not resolve anything, as Microsoft didn't sell you the item. You can install Windows Vista using this Upgrade disc without a product key but you will not be able to login after 30 days of no product key.

I cant reboot my computer without a disc because i dont have one

Hi there,

If you have the Windows XP / Vista / 7 DVD, that would be your disk. If you don't, you could just as well borrow a copy off a friend as long as you have your own product key. Once you have the disk you can boot from the DVD.

Received a blue crash screen, Alt,F10 for erecovery, showed copying files, then tried to reboot and shut down without completing reboot. Now when try to start, showes windows small window and moving dots...

You can use a torrent site like isoHUNT, to download a copy of the Acer OEM vista disc, this is a little illegal, but if you use your own Windows key from your COA sticker, it should register and activate ok.
You may have to download your drivers seperatly from from ACER.
You will need a torrent client like UTorrent, and the download could take a day or so

Forgot password on my new acer laptop with vista os. i'm stuck, cant get in :(

If you have another Administrator id, log in to it and remove the password for the protected account. Restart your PC and go into safe mode. You might find an administrator account without a password.
If such an administrator accout does not exist. Go to ophcrack.com and download a live OPHcrack disc for Vista. Insert the disc and reboot your PC. The disc will take you into a mini Linux where a program will automatically run and will reveal your password.
Warning, this measure is to test password strenght, not for illegal purposes

I have lost my installation disc!

Normal 0 You need to go to the manufactures site and download the VISTA driver for the camera. Then follow the info below to install the program.

Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
