Check the micro switch that the brew unit hit when it enters the machine. Sometimes the lever arm on the switch breaks off, and the switch will no longer work. Click the link for a picture of the micro switch.

Hi,

Make sure the brew unit fits in place, press the "press" button when you put in the brewunit.

Hi
In the menu there is a program below the descaling program that says Reset descale. Enter this program and choose "yes", and make sure that you push the enter button to lock your answer. If you don't it will still be there.
Also go to your water hardness and move it to the #4. This will prevent you from having to replace the boiler sooner than needed. Descale when told to by the machine.

Brew unit missing

the BREW UNIT is this part of the machine wich is behind the right side door.Take off the dregdrawer open the door,and you will see handle to grab his hand, then press the "press" and pulling the unit.Then put it back in place and must be done. If you have any questions, write me!

I have a saeco magic comfort. the brew unit is stuck. i took it to a repair shop who told me I need to spend 350 to repair it. not sure if there is something else I can do.

My brew unit indicator light is on - what do I need to do?

Open the door on the right. The brew unit is the thing with the handle that has the "press" on it. You need to push on the upper left side of the brew unit until it clicks. There is an outlet spout on the opposite side of where you are pushing. It goes into an intake port that needs to be lubed, so the outlet spout will slide in without pushing back. That should take care of the missing brew unit.

Machine says the brew unit is missing, however, I have a penny size white, round disk that fell into the grounds bin - and I cannot find where it has come from? Any suggestions. Thank you.
