Ensure that you are properly recharging the battery.

1. Insert the small end of the adapter into the external extension connector (labeled "5.2V=IN") on the back of the Nintendo DS Lite, just next to the SLOT 1 Game Card opening.

2. Swing the prongs on the AC adapter until they lock into place, then insert it into a standard (120 volt) outlet.

The plug should be mounted vertically or on a floor outlet (such as a power strip).

3. Once the adapter is properly inserted, the unit will begin to charge (the orange charging light will display).

4. Once the DS Lite is fully charged, the orange charge light will go off.

Check the AC Adapter for damage (such as bent prongs or split wires). If you see damage to the AC Adapter, purchase a replacement from Nintendos Online Store.

Try plugging the AC Adapter into another wall outlet. Its possible the outlet is not working properly and has not been charging the Nintendo DS Lite.

If you are unable to get power to your Nintendo DS Lite, despite trying to properly recharge the unit, then your system will need to be repaired.

Nintendo offers convenient repairs, fast turnaround times and, for all systems repaired, a new one-year manufacturer's warranty.

Ds lite charge is ok but sometimes wont on

This could be a few things. The easiest would be the battery. If the battery's connection points are dirty that may have something to do with your problem.
It could also be the charger. Is it approved by Nintendo?
Or it could be the charging port itself. If it's damaged internally or not situated right on the motherboard, then it may only be able to charge from certain angles.

Hi my fone wont charge is the behold 2 known to have prolems wit the charging port

You could try getting a different charger for your phone. Maybe your charger is just bad. It could be the charging port is dirty. Try and put a Q-tip and clean it. If not take it to your phone provider for a new phone.

My Ds will not switch on. It worked this morning, it wont charge and it wont switch on either....It is a DS lite console, only 4 months old.

Hi,

Your DSlite could have come into contact with liquid, OR the battery is bad.

Both are very possible and very likely.

I would try another battery before sending it out for repair. Aside from a blown fuse inside your Nintendo DS Lite, these are the only causes of no power.

Please try a battery first.

If that does not work, you will have to send this in for repair.

Goodluck and I hope I helped.

I turn on the DS and the screen flashes,THEN DEAD

Hello,

Which screen?

If both of the screens flash and you've charged your dslite, i would say either your charger is bad, your battery is bad, or your charging port inside your system is bad.

You would have to try different batteries and chargers to pinpoint the problem. I recommend this situation before sending it in for repair, if repair will cost you some money.

If only 1 of the two screens are flashing, then it would have to be sent in for repair since Liquid damage or rips can cause this problem.

Hope I helped!

Ds console lite

Generally speaking electronic devices display some sort of battery charge level indicator and even if they're charged will not be harmed if they remain on the power supply cable for longer periods of time. The charge time is 3 hours roughly with the unit turned off.
