Remove the fusing unit ,change the fuse on new and turn ON.If the copier worked the problem is in the fusing unit,the thermistor or thermofuse is in shortcircuit.

What fuse keeps blowing (drive or hyd HEAVY FUSES or light fuses probs for invertor controller LIGHT FUSES), low batteries or running on discharged batteries for a period of time can blow the fuses. Have the motors been tested? Is the drive an AC and hyd a DC?

Might want to list it in another area. If its blowing fuses you know you have something wrong--if it (I presume it does) has an external unit for power the problem is there. Also be aware not all fuses are the same--a generic fuse like radio shack etc may even if correct amperage pop for no reason.

Either a incorrect fuse (not talking about wrong amperage) or a short in the unit--one or the other.

Depending on cost of unit it may be safer and better to replace it.

A word here about fuses----many are special--thermal, slo-blow and generic fuses from electronics stores may blow for no reason.

I would if the unit is expensive talk to the maker concerning this.

I also suggest you do not keep feeding it fuses as if it has a real problem there is always the chance it could catch on fire---no appliance is worth risking a fire.

there could be something wrong with moisture. I had a drink spilled down the back of mine and I had to clean the board cause it kept blowing fuses.

Is the lighter socket fuse blowing or the fuse in the unit's power cord? Have you tried another power cord from a Friends radar detector? If it doesn't blow that power cord's fuse, then your power cord is bad. If it does blow the fuse in the other power cord, there could be something wrong with the unit. It may have been reversed polarity on turn on. This can short out the polarity diode and then cause fuses to blow. This is a protection circuit so do not keep trying new fuses as the reverse surge can go into the radio deeper and damage it beyond repair.

unhook black wire from harness and the ground from pioneer unit install the ground wire from pioneer unit to frame of car (you may need extra wire to do this) make sure the black wire from pioneer unit is bolted to frame of car not to the harness black wire........fuses will no longer blow and you will have your lights.

Most likely there was a power event (surge, brownout, ect) that caused the power supply to fail in the TV causing the fuse to blow. you will need to have someone come and look at the unit and give you an estimate. If you keep putting fuses in and blowing them you could actually be causing more damage.
