What flash card do you have. You may have to reformat the Micro SD card then put the Firmware for the Flash Card back on.Oh if you can back up any games and saves you have on the Micro Sd first do that.

My n5 revolution got formated and i need new moonshell file, system file, and games file. can you help me

Hi,

Although I personally don't use the N5 (i prefer a TT card) I should be able to help.

Try downloading and installing the N5 kernel fron this site... http://www.dsn5.com/EN-N5/download-en.htm

Make sure you download the correct kernel i.e. English N5 or N5i depending on your version of card.

Hope that helps.

Why won't my computer recognise my n5? It keeps saying it needs to format it, but it won't! What do I do?

Not sure why you are connecting it to a computer?
You should be connecting a micro sd card with the card reader provided, so you can copy and paste software including the N5 system software to the micro sd card. Then put the micro sd card in the n5 then the n5 in the ds lite. (the card should show up in my computer and you should be able to format it with FAT32 system)

please post further comments if I am not understanding the problem correctly

If this is a n5 card you can visit the n5 web site and download new software for free all you need to do is clear your sd card toataly and reinstall the required software from the n5 site
Then it will work perfectly.

Yes you do need software on the r4 if you go to the R4 website you can retrive it from there

Prob loading free ds games off pc.

When you say, "Keeps Loading Up..." what do you mean?

If it boots as if they were no N5 card, then I would suggest the N5 card or Micro SD card isn't seated properly and making contact with all the game slot contacts.

N5 NOT WORKING ON DS LITE

Try gently bending the N5 so that the pins contact more effectively. Be careful not to snap it!
