I purchased a new battery, installed it and plugged in cord to charge. The charge light came on, it was on charge for about ten hour, This overnight that I charged the battery, the charge light was out the next morning. I thought the battery was charged, so I turned the computer on and the battery had charged. Could it be the charger in the computer?.

Some units will charge with the light on and when it reaches full capacity the light goes off preventing overcharging the battery. Now! you mentioned that the battery had charged, how long did the battery run? "should be around 2 hours" If you find the light comes back on to recharge the battery then this probably normal. But if the battery is ready to be charged and no light comes on, then it indicates the charging circuits in the motherboard is not working.

Is there fuses in the M91 Pronto Onboard charger

I had this exact same problem after having my M91 in the shop. The repair man said that the onboard charger was bad, so he sold me an offboard charger to charge through the arm. That didn't change anything. I finally took it apart myself and discovered that there was a cord leading from the onboard charger to the batteries that the repair person had left unplugged when he installed my new batteries.
What I'd thought was "fast draining" of the batteries was actually the batteries self-charging overnight (which they will do a little bit if you let them sit). Of course, this might not be your problem, but I'd say at least look at it as a possibility.

I'm borrowing a Jet 3 Ultra from the local Am. Legion for my Mom to use. They know nothing about it except they were told it had a new battery. I plug it in and all the LED's light up with the...

The batteries need charging and when you plug in the charger and the power is on the lights wil flash indicating that the charger is plugged in. Now look at the rear of the chair near where the charger cord plugs into the chair and you should see a voltmeter. With the charger plugged in the voltmeter will indicate about 5-6 amps and after charging overnight the voltmeter should be reading 0 amps. If when you plug in the charger cord and the voltmeter indicates 0 amps then I would suspect that the charger is not working or that the fuse is blown in the charger circuit. The only way to see if the batteries charge would be to borrow or find an offboard charger that will plug into the charger port located under the front of the joystick and after charging for 10-12 hours see if the battery level lights show full charge Hope this helps

After charging my nuvi 1450LMT for four hours, I disconnected it from the power cord and left it overnight. When I turned it on the next morning, I got the Garmin logo, then a white screen flashed on...

How did you charge it? If you did not use a high power USB charger, try that overnight. A USB charger provides a lot more powr than your PC. Leave it plugged in and off overnight.

If that does not work, Amazon sells battery replacement kits.

Had phone almost a year, no problems. Couldn't get it to turn off, so removed battery, now won't go on, tried all advise, cept battery out for 6 hours, will leave it out, but have you heard of this? Can...

Hi,

It could be that moisture got into the battery terminals. Take a Qtip and wipe the battery terminals inside the phone and also on your battery.

Then try installing the battery again and then hook up the AC charger. Try booting up. I had a cell phone once, it was a Nokia and it did something similar. I had plugged the car charger in while I was in the car and I heard a noise like it shorted. I took the phone to trade it in when I purchased a new Nokia and I noticed that the store clerk had taken my phone that would not boot up and hooked it to an AC charger. It powered up. I still purchased the new phone, but try the AC charger and see what happens. If it powers up, it might be the battery. Let the battery charge for about 4 hours, don't keep it charged overnight. Overnight charging will ruin the battery. If the phone still doesn't work, I'd say bring it in and see if you can get it looked at.

Headset not charging

Sometimes it takes longer than two hours. Leave it plugged in overnight if you can. The indicator light should go off after fully charging.

DS is stuck in charge mode when plugged in.

Your DS may have a problem reading the battery gauge, and the DS will only let the charger do its thing for a period of time. Then, if it is still connected, it may burst more charge in. This means that your DS is acting up, and your battery may have a rare (and not harmful to the DS) malfunction.

My MPC t2300 laptop wom't turn on.

The Transport T2300 has an internal battery that will run the laptop for several minutes after the main battery goes dead. This feature allows you to save your work and shut down safely. If you run the laptop until both batteries are dead, even a brand new battery can't start the unit again. You have to follow this procedure:
1.Unplug power cord

2. Remove any attached periphal components including the cd rom and/or floppy disk module if you have one. Both remove with a push button switch located on the bottom of the unit.

3. Plug in power cord and charge the unit for a minimum of 24 hours straight. 30 hours is better. This whole time will be spent slowly recharging the internal back up battery.

4. Once that is done, unplug power cord again and reinstall any floppy/cd drives. Plug power cord back in now and charge for at least 24 hours again.

If your backup battery is dead, you can't charge the main battery or turn the unit on. The longer you charge, the better. We had one unit here that had to be on the initial battery backup for 72 hours before it finally took hold. Then, one overnight recharge on the regular battery and all was well.
If you need drivers or manuals for the 2300, all are available on cd at [email protected] for around $9.50 including shipping, handling, and owners manual

SPS1 charging system

Borrow a multimeter and check the voltage (and current if you can) going to the battery while the unit is turned off. It should still be charging the battery if it's still plugged into the wall socket. If it is not getting about 13 volts, it's not going to charge the battery. If that's the case, then there's something wrong with the transformer, or another part of the charging circuit. The downside is you can't use the unit without the battery being connected. If the unit still works and sounds good even though it's not charging the battery, then just put the battery on a separate charger every week or so.(I use the SPS1 for my computer and love it!) Good luck with it. H.
