From Fisher-Price Site

If Bigfoot stops working, check the following

  • Motor Stall - Was there any audible beeps from Bigfoot before he shut down: If audible beeps came from Bigfoot, a motor has stalled.
    • 1-Beep = arm motors stall
    • 2-Beeps = leg motor stall
    • 3-Beeps = head motor stall
To Fix the Motor stall:
    • Remove any obstruction from Bigfoot's path.
    • Turn the product off and then back on to restart the product.
    • If this stall condition continues to happen when no obstruction is present, there is a malfunction with Bigfoot. Please contact Consumer Relations.
In my case I had 2 buzzes and I forced the legs into the stand position. That did the trick.

The outside wind is a using my door to make a buzzing sound on and off

Dear Tracy,
Try to isolate the sound.
For example, when the buzzing sound happens, try touching or pushing on the dryer door and see if that is where the sound is coming from.
You could then add a small piece of adhesive backed foam rubber to the space between the door and the body of the dryer to quiet the sound.
If the heat of the dryer loosens the foam, you could stick it on with epoxy, if you find out this application solves the problem.
If pushing on the door does not stop the buzz, try opening the door and see if the sound is coming from inside somewhere.
(You would have to depress the door switch to get it to run with the door open.)
Also try adding a small piece of carpet under each foot of the dryer to see if that stops the sound
God bless your efforts.

How do I get Kris Jingle to sing the song. It worked when I bought it a month ago; but, it has quit. I changed batteries that are in the bottom unit.

The foot contains the "on" button, but where does the sound usually come from? If the Santa suit opens in the back, you can check to see if the music box is functional by turning it by hand, if it is the old fashioned type. Maybe something is jamming it? Or it got wet? More information as to what happened prior to it not working would be helpful.

Thank you for contacting Fixya.

Mouth does not move

Motor operating mouth assembly is bad. The process to remove it is tedious and the motor is specific to the design. This was a common problem with all of the motors in this series. Especially the one operating the mouth. The input pulsing necessary for the mouth to move, was to abusive to the motor, and subsequently shortened its life.

Door was not shut tight. A loud buzzing sound recently went off and only stops when we unplug or turn off freezer. :(

loud buzzing I believe is an alarm that is waring you that the freezer is not cold enough. Door problems can be fixed. Test is to stick a dollar bill in the door and shut it. It should be a little hard to pull the bill out. Do this all over the door and find all the bad places. One problem is that the door can become warped by banging it against something or kids hanging on it etc. If you can see the warp you can actually bend the door back into place by holding the bottom of the door and moving the top in the necessary direction. Like jamming your foot against the bottom and pulling on the top or putting a box at the bottom of the door to hold it open and push the top. Next many time the bad fit door is because a hing has moved. All the hinges are adjustable. Usually you loosen the screws and move the door in the appropriate direction and re-tighten the screws. These screws are very tight so you need a big screwdriver and someone big to turn it. Lastly you can purchas a completely new door seal and put it in..

Cannot discharge or crush ice from the bucket. push external lever and nothing happens

sounds like an ice clog at the bin mouth. Tke the ice bin out and shake it to clear ice at the mouth (opening). once back in freezer be sure the auger is spinning.

Dryer makes a buzzing noise when I push the start switch.

Sounds like a bad motor, The buzzing noise is probably the motor humming then nothing because the thermal over load switch inside the motor opened. Timer will still be energized. Good Luck
