Wont load and record new sony discs flashed 1300 and disc error
Had the same problem after purchasing DVD+RW discs. Exchanged for DVD-RW discs and it worked. I guess they are formatted differently.
Did any one find the solution
my handycam dvd703e also have the same problem

when i put the disc in it says its scannin for bout 20 min then says disc error so i lost need help asap
I have the same problem. Same disc error and I can't record or watch previously recorded discs. So it's not the disc that is the problem. Help please!
Am having the same problem,tried cleaning laser,resetting camera,and new discs,none helped could be problem with laser itself.Am still trying to fix.Will post solution when I find one.
I have the same problem and spent about 30 minutes with someone from sony online chat. Tried to reset the camera to no avail. If you get this error when the camera is new take it back. I unfortunately have 3-4 discs that worked right away and several that didn't and thought the discs were bad.
Sony wanted $110 to repair the camera. This is my last SONY camcorder, based on the numerous posts I have seen with no resolution, nor will they tell me what is wrong without paying $110.
how to fix this problem???
