Many plungers have an inner flange that is used for toilets in particular, make sure to pull that out. Even in most case a forceful use of the plunger will get some results so with this flange and enough elbow grease you should be able to acheive some results
My Kohler toilet seems very good at not getting clogged, but sometimes I still does. I've purchased every toilet plunger I could find and tried them all, sometimes for an hour or more. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE PLUNGER THAT WILL WORK ON THIS TOILET. There is no seal. I'm sick of hearing about using the flange or any other inane suggestions that are simply dead wrong. No standard plunger will work, period! A new type of plunger is needed. And as much as I like my Kohler toilet, it will soon be replaced by another brand, or at least another style that works with a plunger.
I agree with above coments. I have one that has ben cloged going on two days now. I have three differnt plungers and none work. The one that Kohler recomends is one of them. Kohler is very short on engineering when it comes to this problem. They must of hired someone from the government. We all know how stopped up those folks are. Sincewrely, D. Beavens
