Siemens washer dryer model WD12D520GB, what is error code 17?

Before you replace the board, you may be able to reset the error code. Start with the washer off (the knob will be at the 12 o'clock position) and the door closed. Turn the knob to the 6 o'clock position and wait 2 seconds. Press and hold the spin button while you turn the knob to the 7 o'clock position. Wait another 2 seconds and release the spin button. Turn the knob to off. You may need to repeat this up to 6 times. If the error continues to appear, the board is faulty.

looking i can find error 59 but not 58 ???

59 is The failure of the 3D- Sensor .

caused by

1. Faulty Power Module - Module to troubleshoot or replace the module .

2. 3D- Sensor fault - replace the sensor of the washing machine

i think 58 is replace the motor brushes

This error appears to be linked to the door lock but is not described in the user manual.

This info should be on the insert hidden somewhere in the machine..look behind the lower kick panel..under the lid...on back...somewhere for the folded paper insert.
Theses are Error coder specific for this manufacturer.

I managed to find out the fault code E14 relates to faulty Heating element, product code 494069, and have been quoted £65.00 + Vat for the Bosch replacement. I am yet to decide on how I will proceed.

IF IT IS LIKE MY 5202 YOU HAVE TO PRESS AND HOLD THE UNLOCK BUTTON FOR LIKE 3 SECONDS. THIS PREVENTS SOMEONE FROM JUST PRESSING THE BUTTON AND ACTIVATING THE LOCK . TRY THE PRESS AND HOLD METHOD AND LET ME KNOW.
