I have put my sim card into my samsung f480 but the contacts have not transferred over. I know that my contacts are definately saved to my sim, please help!!!

just insert the sd card in your mobile,and change contacts memory to memroy card,mark all contacts and copy to card,in the same way all photos from gallery

Hi,after getting codes for your mobile follow the instructions about how to unlock your mobile..
Warning: Do not enter any wrong unlock unlock codes on your Samsung SGH-F480 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.

Method 1:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung SGH-F480 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Samsung SGH-F480 will ask for "Password".
3 - Enter the Unlock Code.

OR (if the Samsung SGH-F480 shows "Insert Correct SIM Card")

Method 2:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung SGH-F480 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Don't bother about what's being displayed on your Samsung SGH-F480.
3 - Compose : #0111*CODE#.

NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Samsung SGH-F480 is locked to.
CODE: Its the unique Unlock Code for your Samsung SGH-F480.

If method 2 does not work, you can try method 2 again but this time without any SIM card on your Samsung SGH-F480.

Each Samsung SGH-F480 mobile phone has an unique unlock code.

it looks like you had saved all info on your old mobile memory,if you still have it insert the sim and transfer all details to sim memory.

save your contact to the sim and put that sim in your new phone go on phone book options sim contact

You can not transfer the photos via sim card, the photos are stored on the phones memory or a memory card if your old phone have it.
These are ways to transfer photos,
Via bluetooth
Via USB Data transfer to PC
Via Infrared
Via memory card

select the proper memory either phone or sim
if phone and sim is then youll have this issue
When you copy contacts from sim to phone or phone to sim we will face this issue as well
Instead move contacts between phone and sim

well....... if you are using the same SIM card as you did in the samsung then put your SIM in the samsung and go to your phonebook and choose the option to save the phonebook to SIM then when you put it in the IPhone TADA! its all there in contacts! :) hope this helps m8

well usually before you add a contact it asks you where to save it to the sim card or the phone unfortunately if u save it to your phone you cant just pull out the sim and put it in the new phone you need to save contacts and anything els u want transferred to your existing sim card

copy all your contact to your sim card and insert the card to your new phone.
