We have a Randell 44000A series wine cooler that the owner passed away and we would like to sell it, was wondering if you could supply us with a cost of a new one, or one comparable to that series if you now longer manufacture that particular series. It is a self-contained full view display case. Anything in the ball park with regard to a price would be appreciated or if you don't have that information, perhaps someone to contact or? thank you. SOURCE: Haier Wine Cooler

Hi LinnieMcAdam,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your question is: Where can you find a 10 Watt replacement light bulb for your Haier Wine Cooler?

I usually have success at the hardware store. Start there. Then you can try the store where you bought it or call Haier.

Feel free contact me again!

SOURCE: E4 Code

Between phone calls to danby and my neighbor, we fixed this problem. My E4 was on the left (lower chamber). If you have one on the right it is the upper chamber. The E4 is a defrost sensor that can be ordered from Danby's distributor (call Danby for the one in your area). The part and shipping were around $30.

If your E4 is on the left...

- remove the top shelves
- open the cover inside the cooler above the digital read outs (the top unscrews)
- inside is were the repacement sensor plugs in
- replace the one with the long cord
- run the sensor down the back to the lower chamber
- replace all covers and parts

If the E4 is on the right...

- remove the top shelves
- look on the right hand wall for a black plastic grate, the sensor is under this grate
- replace the sensor (simple plug and play)
- replace the racks.

Please pass this on, it was a ***** to deal with Danby and I nearly trashed the cooler out of sheer frustration.

Before you replace that wine cooler, consider repairing your wine cooler. Wine coolers have an average lifespan of 9-13 years and can cost anywhere from $150-$2000 to replace.

What is a freestanding wine cooler?

Freestanding wine cooler designed to stand alone without been attached to the wall. Freestanding wine cooler includes a front ventilation system which channels the heat forward away from the unit.

On two recent occasions, my unit has chilled the wines down to about 36 deg.F. It has otherwise run fine for about two years, maintaining about 57 deg. F, consistently. Any idea what would cause such...

wine coolers are usually installed in cabinets or in a bar type situation where the airflow to them becomes more critical. the cooler has two sets of coils that can collect dust and dirt. once the coils clog with dirt, the fans cannot do there jobs by passing air over the coils. This is how the heat transfer takes place. One coil absorbs the heat from the inside of the cooler and the other rejects the heat into your home or outside of the unit. They should be cleaned once a month just like your refrigerator. This will make it run more effeciently. If this is not the problem, check to see if there is a supply register from your central heating and air system close to it. you may be able to get a diverter to push the air away from the cooler

I have the Marvel 70 bottle wine cooler and it is making loud whining noise like if you put a stick in the wheel of spinning bike spokes when it is cooling down sometimes. it does not seem to be the fan...

I believe the 6SBAR has an evaporator fan located behind the evaporator plate ( the cooling plate) inside the unit. They had some issues with the bearings in those fans failing and will sound like a small jet engine sometimes (high pitched whine). When you hear the noise, open the door and if the noise level changes (either gets louder or goes away) then it is the evaporator fan. If your noise is coming from the compressor area and does not change when you open the door, it is most likely the condenser fan blade is loose. The evaporator fan looks like a small computer cooling fan and is located near the bottom center of the evaporator plate (out of site). The factory sells a replacement kit with a much better fan and new power supply. You can reach them at 800-223-3900. Good-luck.

Describe your uline wine cooler Problem ULINE WC2015: Light comes on but unit won't run. Cleaned as discussed in owners manual. Need help!

OK if you have a 20 series and you have a light and no fan or compressor then you need a thermostat. This will have 2 wires to it and if you bypass the thermostat the unit should run. If it does then replace the thermostat

Wine cooler makes noise and runs hot

The price looks fine for my area its about a 3 hour job done properly. you should consider a new wine cooler and cut your losses because if their only replacing the compressor they should be replacing the cap tube and liquid drier if the cap tube is not replaced could be a waste of money
