I had a problem with this same blue tooth. I had it paired with another phone previously and was unable to get my new Dash to recognize the device. The fix I figured out follows. Shut off your blue tooth device. hold down the on button untill the light emmits a solid blue light. Try pairing your device with your phone. Use pass code 0000

I have a bluetooth and I need a pass key

Hi friend,

You can set the pass key by yourself, power on the bluetooth of both of cell phones, and you use one cell phone to search another cell phone, when it is asking for a pass key, you just need to enter some numbers or just a number as you like into both of the two cell phones(enter the same pass key into the two cell phones), then it is OK.

You can visit here:www.1010store.comto get much solutions about the problem of cell phones.

Pairing cell phone to usb bluetooth adapter

First, make sure that your phone or your computer is not paired up with another Bluetooth device.

Once verified that none of them is paired up, then try to pair your phone to your computer using 1234 or 0000.

If that did not help, try to pair your computer with another Bluetooth device, so that you can isolate the problem.

You may also try to uninstall/reinstall the Bluetooth driver to the comuter, if all the steps did not work.

BTW, Motorola phones' Bluetooth can be activated for a minute only, and it will automatically shut off after a minute.

Make sure that your phone is near the computer while trying to pair. And be sure that there's no possible wireless interference (i.e. another cell phone, cordless phone).

Thank you and good luck!

Motorola foma 702is AND MOTO Q8

You need the passkey for the device that you want to connect to. See the booklet that came with the device. Some devices use 0000 (4 zeros) as the passkey. Many of the higher end devices can be changed.

The idea of the device passkey is to protect it in case it is stolen. Then it is useless to the thief. With some devices, if the passkey is entered wrong for 10 times, the device is disabled, and must be factory re-set. There are some that will allow a number of retries after 24 hours and then shut down. This is all model dependent..
