    I have a Samsung phone and a Plantronics Bluetooth headset. My phone located the device but I can't seem to get the correct Passkey code. I've tried 0000, 1111, 1234, 9999 and still nothing. Can anyone help me?

1. Headset

3. Light Indicator

A. Charging
Charge for at least 20 minutes before
first use. Complete charging in 2 hours.
Headset will not function when charging.
B. On/Off, Volume↑↓
 Press the Control Button for 2 seconds
to power on. Press the Control Button
for 3 seconds to power off.
C. Pairing
Begin with Headset turned off.
Press button for 6 seconds. Release
button when Light Indicator flashes
blue/red. Headset is ready to pair with
Bluetooth device.
D. Pairing
Use your device’s menu to begin
pairing mode and select “320
Plantronics” on the display. When
asked for passkey, enter “0000.”

Answer :
Turn on the mobile phone and place within 10 ft of the headset.
With the headset turned off, press and hold the Talk button for about 7 seconds. You will hear a "pair" tone and the LEDs will flash continually to indicate the headset has entered into pairing mode.
Release the Talk button. The headset is now is "pairing" mode.
Initiate the device discovery feature (Bluetooth discovery) on the mobile phone. Refer to your mobile phone manual for further instructions.
When prompted by the phone, enter the headset passkey (0000). When pairing is complete the LEDs on headset will flash at 3 second intervals and the headset will be placed in standby mode, ready to make and receive calls.
Note: On some mobile phones you will need to activate the Bluetooth feature first and then search for the Bluetooth device. Please contact your cell phone manufacturer or the User's Manual for further information on how to pair pair Bluetooth devices.

Hi leovy_naguit,

I see that you need information regarding your Jabra Bluetooth Headset.

*Once the Light on the Headset is constantly lit it means that it is ready for pairing.
*On you Mobile phone go to Bluetooth it should be detected as soon as you set your mobile phone's BT to be discoverable.
*Select Connect/Accept/OK or which ever options you Mobile Phone will provide when pairing with your headset.
*The pairing code will be " 0000 "

This should help you pair up your headset with any Mobile phone or device that uses Bluetooth.

Pair the headset

To pair the headset if it has been previously paired with another device, ensure that the headset is switched off, and press and hold the power key until the indicator light starts to flash blue quickly.
3. Activate the Bluetooth feature on the mobile device, and set it to search for Bluetooth devices. See the user guide of your device for instructions.
4. Select the headset from the list of found devices.
5. Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your device. In some mobile devices, you may need to make the connection separately after pairing. See the user guide of your device for details. You only need to pair the headset with your device once. If pairing is successful, the headset appears in the menu of the mobile device where you can view the currently paired Bluetooth devices.

You cannot pair samsung bluetooth device with other mobile brands. for pairing and mobile with bluetooth device you need an universal bluetooth.

You may be having compatibility issue instead of what you suspect may be wrong with both your phone and the Bluetooth headset your friend gave you.

Well, there is no such thing as a Bluetooth headset being permanently locked in to a phone.

As long as there is an open 'visible' Bluetooth connection option and there are devices in range ready to pair, the process to pair starts.

Whenever there are incompatibility issues, pairing two devices using Bluetooth becomes a hassle.

P990i is not supporting headset bluetooth HBH-PV700
You must operate your bluetooth headset HBH-PV700 in discovery mode in order for your mobile to discover the headset and then pair the two devices.
