Clock settings i av jst purchased a aeg competence electric cooker, second hand with no instruction manual, i understand the oven only works with the clock set accordingly of which i am not sure how it has to be set or how to set it

Which model do you have? For the AEG Competence B9820, you toggle the Child Lock on and off by pressing and holding the Selection Clock and - buttons simultaneously until the Child Lock changes state. For the BE7314401, press clock and down arrows for ~2 seconds until you hear a chime and the lock turns on or off. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/444474/Aeg-Be7314401.html?page=22 has the details.

Please add a comment with the model number for direction specific to your oven. I will attempt to determine if there is a different combination to enable or disable the child lock feature. Note: at least one AEG microwave/grill uses Press "Micro+Grill" once. Then press "Clear/Stop" 5 times to toggle the child lock on and off.

Yes, most likely it is the heating element, you will need to have a new one fitted.

It's either the thermostat / switch or the timer unit. Make sure the timer was not set to have turned off the grill first

Is the digital clock/timer set correctly? Sometimes after a powercut I have to reset this to get the oven controls back into manual mode. Follow this link to the user guide for your oven and have a read. Hi, My Competence B1180-4 digital clock keeps switiching itself off and then back on. This means that the timer etc dosen't work. It is intimitant.

I am assuming you have a touch pad for the clock. You can hold down the time button for a few seconds an it should start blinking. If it doesn't work, try pushing the "set" button for a few seconds. Usually, you can find it by trying all of the buttons til you get the right one. Then, you can adjust the time by moving the up and down arrows.

In your browser bar, type in serviceforce

Then click on serviceforce the a to z of service and spares from the list

Then from the menu on the left click on instruction manuals

Then follow instructions in search menu.
